The main purpose of this study was the assessment of whole-body vibration warm-up, modified drop jumps, and combination of both on the range of motion of dorsiflexion in the ankle joint and running time. 16 recreationally active runners performed 4 different warm-up variants one week apart: 5 sets of 30 s calf raises on the platform but without vibration (CTRL), the same as CTRL group but with vibration with 30 s rest intervals between sets (WBV), 6 drop jumps with a 30 s rest interval between sets (DJ); last group was combination of both WBV and DJ groups (WBV+DJ). The study included muscle flexibility tests for the soleus and gastrocnemius muscles performed before the warm-up, 3 minutes after warm-up and immediately after a 3000 m run on a treadmill. The running time was measured and the run had to be completed in the shortest possible time. Additionally, in the third week of the study there were performed static and dynamic foot measurements immediately before and after a 3000 m treadmill run. The main purpose of that gait analysis was to assess the impact of a 3km run on plantar pressure patterns and gait parameters in recreational runners.
The primary objective of this study is to determine the immediate efficiency of stretching intensity on regional and distant pain sensitivity in healthy subjects. It is hypothesized that the analgesic effect of stretching may be linked with the intensity of stretching in a dose-response relationship.
The purpose of this study is to compare the safety and efficacy, defined as improved range of motion and functional outcome scores, of early elbow motion in the early (immediately post-op) and late postoperative periods (2 week post-op).
Musculoskeletal disorders such as adhesive capsulitis (AC) affect tissues such as muscles, bones, joints, tendons and ligaments and are the second most disabling condition worldwide. Musculoskeletal Systemic disorders are typically characterized by pain, limitations in joint range of motion or functional ability. Existing studies have shown that Virtual Reality (VR) is beneficial in pain management for example; pain relief during dressing changes in burn patients. VR can also reduce anxiety, distract from the fear of pain, and reduce stress. It can distract the patients who are afraid of moving due to pain and enable them to move freely. In this study, AC patients will be treated with VR application. Patients pain levels, upper extremity range of motion, functional activity levels and quality of life levels will be evaluated. A total of 36 patients will be included in the study. This observational randomized controlled study will contribute to the literature by investigating the effects of VR based exercises in individuals with AC.

The goal of this study is to explore the intervention effect of home-based neurodynamic slider program on hamstring flexibility. Fifty physically active male subjects will be randomly assigned to either performing a neurodynamic sliding technique (3x20 reps) or a static stretching protocol (3x30") on a daily basis for a 6-week period. Hamstring flexibility will be assessed by means of the Straight Leg Raise at baseline, immediately after the intervention and after 4 weeks follow up.
Introduction: To compare the acute effects of different stretching methods on ankle joint range of motion (ROM) in older adults. Methods: A total of 78 subjects aged 65 years and older were randomly divided into three groups. After the 5-minute walk, the randomly assigned method was applied. Static Stretching Group; static stretching in 3x30sec, PNF Stretching Group; PNF contract-relax in 3x30sec and Roller Massage Group; roller massage in 3x30sec was performed. Immediately after the application, 10 minutes and 20 minutes after application, the range of motion of the ankle joint was measured in the weight-bearing lunge position.
Aims:The study was conducted to investigate the effect of Yoga-based exercise program on pain, range of motion(ROM), sleep quality, depression and quality of life in female patients with myofascial pain dysfunction(MPD) of temporomandibular disorders . Methods: MPD will be included in the study. Yoga based exercise program will be performed to the first group as 3 times in a week for 6 weeks. The second group will be the control group. Outcome measurements; pain ,sleep quality, depression and quality of life will be evaluated. Evaluations will be repeated before and 6 weeks after exercise.
