NCT ID: NCT05389774 Recruiting - Lung Cancer Clinical Trials

DOLCE: Determining the Impact of Optellum's Lung Cancer Prediction Solution

DOLCE
Start date: March 23, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study is a multi-centre prospective observational cohort study recruiting patients with 5-30mm solid and part-solid pulmonary nodules that have been detected on CT chest scans performed as part of routine practice. The aim is to determine whether physician decision making with the AI-based LCP tool, generates clinical and health-economic benefits over the current standard of care of these patients.

NCT ID: NCT04948047 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

Breath Combined With CT for Diagnoses of Pulmonary Nodules

Start date: July 10, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Pulmonary nodules diagnosis using breath test of volatile organic compound (VOC) is in its infancy. The accuracy of VOC analysis in diagnosing malignant pulmonary nodules varies cross the published studies. The diagnosis accuracy of VOC alone is generally poor. We speculate that the accuracy of diagnosing malignant pulmonary nodules will be improved by combining breath test with chest computed tomography (CT). This study aims to establish a predictive model of malignant pulmonary nodule using bio-markers from exhaled breath and image-markers from chest CT with retrospective data from multi centers. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of the model will be validated prospectively.

NCT ID: NCT04552054 Recruiting - Lung Cancer Clinical Trials

Mixed Reality Technique Combined With 3D Printing Navigational Template for Localizing Pulmonary Nodules

MR&3D Local
Start date: May 1, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study evaluates the viability and accuracy of preoperative mixed reality technique combined with three-dimensional printing navigational template guided localizing pulmonary small nodules.

NCT ID: NCT04270799 Recruiting - Lung Cancer Clinical Trials

Lung Nodule Imaging Biobank for Radiomics and AI Research

LIBRA
Start date: June 1, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study will collect retrospective CT scan images and clinical data from participants with incidental lung nodules seen in hospitals across London. The investigators will research whether machine learning can be used to predict which participants will develop lung cancer, to improve early diagnosis.

NCT ID: NCT04165603 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Pulmonary Nodule, Solitary

Fluorescence-navigated Thoracoscopy for Detection of Small Pulmonary Nodules

Start date: December 18, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Fluorescence-navigated thoracoscopic imaging with indocyanine green (ICG) is a novel technique for detection of small pulmonary nodules other than traditional radiography or intraoperative palpation. As a non-targeted fluorescent contrast agent, ICG accumulates in tumors by the enhanced permeability and retention effect (EPR), making the lesions fluoresce under fluorescent imaging. However, the optimal dosage and injection time of ICG are still under exploration. Hence, we perform this study in humans made up of four groups to determine the optimal time and dose.
