View clinical trials related to Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension.
Filter by:This is a randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled, dose escalation study to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and PK of single and multiple inhaled doses of imatinib inhalation solution (AER-901) in healthy adult volunteers. This study consists of 3 parts and an optional fourth part.
This pilot clinical trial will evaluate the initial safety and feasibility of intestinal microbiota transplantation (IMT) in patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). This trial will inform development of future trials in treatment of PAH. Active drug in capsule form composed of freeze-dried, encapsulated intestinal microbiota from healthy donors will be administered to patients with PAH. This study will also allow for limited evaluation of pharmacokinetics in terms of donor microbiota engraftment and pharmacodynamics in terms of potential mechanisms. It will also allow for limited evaluation of cardiac endurance and function prior to and after IMT.
Prevalence of musculoskeletal pain and its impact of quality of life and functional exercise capacity will be evaluated in patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension.
The purpose of this study is to characterize the clinical and hemodynamic response of Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) therapy in patients with atypical PAH and risk factors for left heart disease.
This study plans to learn more about activity levels in children with pulmonary hypertension. Pulmonary hypertension is a condition where the pressure in the lungs is higher than normal. This can affect the person's heart. The purpose of this study is to see if measuring activity in children with pulmonary hypertension and comparing it to activity in children without pulmonary hypertension can give their doctor helpful information on how they are feeling and how their treatment is working.
The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and efficacy of Rodatristat Ethyl in pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) patients.
The purpose of this study is to assess the effect of BIA 5-1058 200 mg on the pharmacokinetic (PK) of treprostinil
The study aim to assess right atrial (RA) remodeling, in terms of RA fibrosis, in pulmonary arterial hypertension and chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension patients. This will be investigated in detail with in-depth cardiac magnet resonance imaging (CMRI). A cohort with exclusion of pulmonary hypertension which underwent CMRI due to dyspnoe of unkown reason will be the control group.
This study aims to investigate the exercise profile in pulmonary hypertension patients with either pulmonary arterial hypertension, chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension or pulmonary hypertension due to left heart disease and in disease control.
The objectives of this study are to evaluate the efficacy and safety of sotatercept (MK-7962) treatment (plus background pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) therapy) versus placebo (plus background PAH therapy) at 24 weeks in adults with PAH. The primary hypothesis of the study is that the participants receiving sotatercept will have improved 6-minute walk distance (6MWD) at 24 weeks compared to participants receiving placebo.
