Outcomes evaluated include feasibility, treatment completion, treatment satisfaction of delivery of interventions as well as child outcomes (e.g., behavior problems, trauma symptoms) and parenting outcomes (parenting stress and parenting skills).

Primary objective is to evaluate the feasibility of delivering an online early Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) Recent Traumatic Events Protocol (R-TEP) to patients who have survived Covid-19 related critical illness, within the context of a randomised controlled trial (RCT). This will inform the design of a future RCT investigating the effectiveness of EMDR R-TEP in reducing psychological symptoms, for adult survivors of intensive care.
The Simple Physical Activity Questionnaire (SIMPAQ) was originally developed in English to assess physical activity level particularly people with mental illnesses. The purpose of this study was to translate and cross-culturally adapt the SIMPAQ into Turkish and investigate its psychometric properties.
Team Strategies and Tools to Enhance Performance and Patient Safety (TeamSTEPPS) is an evidence-based approach for teams that can be adapted for school mental health. TeamSTEPPS has been widely disseminated in health care settings with promising outcomes. TeamSTEPPS is designed to build competencies in the areas of leadership, situation monitoring, mutual support, and communication and has been associated with improvements in teamwork and communication as well as patient outcomes, such as decreased seclusion in psychiatric hospitals. This approach has yet to be extended as an implementation strategy in school or community mental health teams. If an evidence-based team approach like TeamSTEPPS can be successfully applied to school mental health teams, it could provide a cost-effective strategy for improving student mental health services and bolstering existing EBP implementation efforts, which to date generally have been insufficient in producing long-term clinician behavior change. In Aim 1 the investigators will capture key stakeholder perspectives about challenges in collocated school mental health services through formative work to inform collaborative planning and capacity building activities in Aim 2. Then, in Aim 2 the investigators will identify inter-organizational challenges and required components of TeamSTEPPS to adapt. The investigators will establish an advisory board and adapt TeamSTEPPS. The product of Aim 2 will be an adapted TeamSTEPPS, directed toward both school mental health and school-employed personnel, and specific, tailored implementation strategies to improve services in schools in conjunction with TeamSTEPPS. Finally, In Aim 3 the investigators will explore the feasibility, acceptability, and utility of TeamSTEPPS and the strategies generated in Aim 2 on inter-professional collaboration, teamwork, and student outcomes in eight schools.
The prevalence of behavioral disorders is high in patients living in an institutional environment or hospitalized in a long-term care unit. The consequences of these symptoms are not negligible with a faster cognitive decline and a significant impact on the life of the institution and of other patients when the disorders are pervasive and too difficult to manage for the healthcare teams. Despite the daily attention paid to these disorders and their causes, especially the environmental ones, the teams are sometimes helpless, the teams are sometimes helpless today to fight against these symptoms, and their management thus constitutes a real challenge. Non-drug interventions targeting this problem often require additional training, architectural installations (Snoezelen space) and / or are moderately effective. In order to offer a solution that can be used by everyone, that is transportable and based on new technologies, the TOVERTAFEL device was created. These are interactive games projected onto a table using a ceiling projector. The light animations invite people to "play with the light" using arm or hand movements. These games stimulate residents' physical activity and encourage interactions between residents and with caregivers. In this study, it is a question of evaluating the effectiveness of the TOVERTAFEL device on the frequent behavioral symptoms in dementia (agitation, ambulation, apathy, anxiety), the quality of life of the patients, as well as on psychotropic treatments.
This pilot randomized controlled trial of the Vermont Family Based Approach (VFBA) tested the feasibility of the VFBA in primary care pediatrics and its effects on children's and parents' emotional and behavioral problems and health-related quality of life. The VFBA is a public health framework for evidence-based health promotion, prevention, and treatment that is delivered from the family perspective and emphasizes emotional and behavioral health. The VFBA group received the VFBA intervention, while the Control group received pediatric primary care as usual.
The aim of this study is to measure current affective symptoms and psychological distress in individuals with severe mental illness during the COVID-19 pandemic using an online questionnaire survey. In addition, this study aims at identifying individual beliefs, sleep quality, attitudes concerning the virus, the adherence to the measures, believing processes, and coping strategies/resilience patterns referring to COVID-19 in different study centers.
