Modified Immune Cells (Autologous CAR T Cells) in Treating Patients With Advanced, Recurrent Platinum Resistant Ovarian, Fallopian Tube or Primary Peritoneal Cancer

This is a Phase I/Ib dose escalation, dose expansion, study to evaluate the safety and identify the recommended dose of modified immune cells PRGN-3005 (autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells developed by Precigen, Inc.) in treating patients with ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer that has spread to other places in the body, that has come back and is resistant to platinum chemotherapy. Autologous CAR T cells are modified immune cells that have been engineered in the laboratory to specifically target a protein found on tumor cells and kill them.

MESOTIP is a randomized trial evaluating the association of PIPAC and systemic chemotherapy versus systemic chemotherapy alone as 1st-line treatment of Malignant Peritoneal Mesothelioma In this study, patients in the experimental arm will be treated by 4 PIPAC (Cisplatine+Doxorubicine) alternating with 6 cycles of standard intravenous chemotherapy (Cisplatine+Pemetrexed). MESOTIP aim to show an improvement of the overall survival in the experimental arm.

The objective of this feasibility study is to assess the initial safety and efficacy of the LUM Imaging System for in vivo imaging of metastases to the peritoneum from primary gastrointestinal cancer, ovarian cancer and mesothelioma. This feasibility study consists of two parts: (a) a dose escalation phase to select the optimal dose followed by (b) enrollment of additional patients to develop the tumor detection algorithm.

Labetuzumab specifically recognizes CEA which is is expressed on > 95% of colorectal cancers.. Therefore Indium-111-DOTA-labetuzumab-IRDye800CW is a perfect dual-labeled antibody for dual-modality image-guided surgery in peritoneal carcinomatosis of colorectal cancer.

Reduction Of Cycles of neOadjuvant Chemotherapy for Advanced Epithelial Ovarian, Fallopian and Primary Peritoneal Cancer

Te hypothesized that two cycles of neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by interval debulking surgery would improve survival in advanced epithelial ovarian, fallopian, and primary peritoneal cancer because reduction of one cycle of chemotherapy can lead to the removal of more tumor burden, compared with three cycles of neoadjuvant chemotherapy. So the investigators aim to compare survival, rate of successful optimal cytoreductive surgery, post-operative complications, and quality of life between two and three cycles of neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by interval debulking surgery for advanced epithelial ovarian, fallopian, and primary peritoneal cancer.
