NCT ID: NCT06385912 Completed - Ovarian Cancer Clinical Trials

Systematic Lymphadenectomy During Interval Debulking Surgery in Advanced Epithelial Ovarian Cancer

Start date: July 1, 2006
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The study aims to investigate the prognostic and postoperative complication relevance of lymphadenectomy in advanced epithelial ovarian cancer patients who received neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) followed by interval debulking surgery (IDS). The main question it aims to answer is: Does systematic lymphadenectomy during interval debulking surgery have a significant impact on survival in patients with advanced epithelial ovarian cancer who have received neoadjuvant chemotherapy? The progression-free survival (PFS), overall survival (OS), and postoperative complication were compared between the lymphadenectomy and no lymphadenectomy groups to answer the question.

NCT ID: NCT06379191 Completed - Ovarian Cancer Clinical Trials

The Efficacy of WeChat-based Multidisciplinary Full-course Nutritional Management Program

Start date: February 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

As the most malignant type of cancer in the female reproductive system, ovarian cancer (OC) has become the second leading cause of death among Chinese women. Chemotherapy is the main treatment for OC patients, and its numerous adverse effects can easily lead to malnutrition. It is difficult to centrally manage OC patients in the intervals between chemotherapy. The utility of WeChat, an effective and more cost-efficient mobile tool, in chronic disease management has been highlighted.

NCT ID: NCT06366997 Completed - Clinical trials for Epithelial Ovarian Cancer

Diagnosis of Epithelial Ovarian Cancer Using Ovarian Cancer Score (OCS) Test

Start date: October 9, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The study is designed to confirm the performance of the 3D Medicines Corporation OCS test in diagnosis of epithelial ovarian cancer in patients with adnexal mass. To this end, blood samples from female patients with adnexal mass required surgical resection from four centers are obtained and analysis in the study.

NCT ID: NCT06145295 Completed - Ovarian Cancer Clinical Trials

The Effectiveness of an Online Support Group in Enhancing Recovery Identity and Health-Related Quality of Life

Start date: June 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Background Ovarian cancer poses challenges for middle-aged and older patients, impacting physical and self-conceptual aspects. A research gap exists on the impact of online support groups (SPs) on identity synthesis and Health-Related Quality of Life (HRQOL) for these patients. Objective To assess the feasibility and efficacy of an online SG in influencing recovery identity and HRQOL in middle-aged and older ovarian cancer patients (MDOCP). Method A four-week randomized controlled trial, followed by a three-month evaluation, was conducted, employing a mobile online SG and an offline SG both grounded in The Social Identity Model of Identity Change. Recovery identity, HRQOL, and participant engagement were utilized to evaluate the feasibility and efficacy of interventions.

NCT ID: NCT06103214 Completed - Clinical trials for Ovarian Neoplasm Epithelial

The Effects of Hemodilution Methods in Patients Undergoing Primary Debulking Gynaecological Surgery

Start date: January 1, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Primary cytoreductive surgery for ovarian cancer is an ideal setting to evaluate endothelial function under ANH and AHH, as the procedure is associated with moderately high blood loss. As the technique has not yet been described in this setting, investigators designed a pilot study to evaluate ANH and AHH in patients planned to undergo primary cytoreduction during perioperative period, with the intent of proceeding to a randomized trial if results were favorable.
