Filter by:Primary cytoreductive surgery for ovarian cancer is an ideal setting to evaluate endothelial function under ANH and AHH, as the procedure is associated with moderately high blood loss. As the technique has not yet been described in this setting, investigators designed a pilot study to evaluate ANH and AHH in patients planned to undergo primary cytoreduction during perioperative period, with the intent of proceeding to a randomized trial if results were favorable.
1. To evaluate the efficacy and safety of niraparib in Korean women with primary and recurrent epithelial ovarian cancer who underwent niraparib maintenance therapy 2. To evaluate the efficacy and safety of salvage niraparib therapy in Korean women with heavily pretreated epithelial ovarian cancer.
Main purpose: To compare the intraoperative and postoperative recovery of laparoscopic surgery for ovarian benign tumors through different approaches; Secondary objective: Will vNOTES increase the risk of cesarean section during pregnancy and affect the quality of sexual life after surgery.
The aim of the current study is to compare weekly versus three-week collective of carboplatin/paclitaxel in advanced epithelial ovarian cancer. The author's hypothesis was to study and correlate routine laboratory tests, clinical biomarkers and quality of life questionnaires between weekly and three-week standard carboplatin regimens in order to reveal any possible superiority for the weekly study arm.
The median age at which ovarian cancer is diagnosed is 63 years (50-75). This is still a significant adverse factor for survival results. Seventy years can be considered the lower limit for the elderly term, since most of age-related changes occur later. Because of this, this group of patients is often not included in clinical trials and sometimes they do not receive adequate treatment. Little information is available on chemotherapy treatments in elderly patients. Data on the use of first-line chemotherapy in this population have recently been published. Trabectedin in combination with PLD is indicated for platinum-sensitive relapsed ovarian cancer and is an option for those patients in whom platinum is not the best option. There are some studies with trabectedin in combination with PLD in which some patients with this profile have been included, although not exclusively. Therefore, it is of interest to study the safety and efficacy profile of this treatment in elderly patients. With this information we will be able to know its real use in routine clinical practice at the national level in Spain in this population for which not much information is available. Safety and efficacy data (e.g. PFS, ORR, OS) will be collected retrospectively in order to draw conclusions about the combination of trabectedin + PLD, as a treatment option in this patient profile.
This study will collect the data from existing patient medical records at US cancer centers. The study will include patients with BRCAwt ovarian cancer who have been prescribed first line (1L) olaparib maintenance treatment.
The primary objective of this sub study is to evaluate the efficacy of the combination of TSR-042, bevacizumab, and niraparib in participants with advanced, relapsed, high-grade ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer who have received 1 to 2 prior lines of anticancer therapy, are PARP inhibitor naïve, and have platinum-resistant but not refractory disease. This study is a sub study of the master protocol - OPAL (NCT03574779).
Investigators studied a population of 28 low grade serous ovarian carcinoma treated in Hospices civils de Lyon between 2000 and 2022. The primary objective is to determinate the rate of myometrial involvement by the cancer at pathology examination. Then, investigators compared patients with or without myometrial involvement : survival parameters, predictive factors of myometrial involvement (age, CA 125 level, surgery characteristics, pathology characteristics).
In order to explore the real situation of niraparib in clinical application more comprehensively and deeply, we conducted the first multicenter, real-world study in China. This large observational study used real-world data to assess the effectiveness and safety of niraparib as maintenance therapy in patients with advanced ovarian cancer (AOC) in China and investigated clinical factors associated with prolonged benefits of niraparib so as to achieve the maximum clinical benefit of patients.
