Filter by:The purpose of the study is to examine how preservative free tafluprost ophthalmic solution (0.0015%) is distributed in blood circulation after ocular administration in children who have glaucoma or elevated intraocular pressure. Tolerance to the drug and safety in general will also be assessed.
This efficacy and safety study will evaluate LUMIGAN® .01 (bimatoprost 0.01%) alone compared to TRAVATAN Z® (travoprost 0.004%) and TIMOLOL GFS, 0.5% (timolol 0.5% ophthalmic gel forming solution) in patients who require IOP lowering therapy.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate and compare efficacy and tolerability of the brand-name latanoprost and one of its generic version in subjects with primary open angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. This randomized, double-blinded, cross-over design study has a 4 months follow-up. There are two periods of 8 weeks. During the first period, subjects put brand-name latanoprost in one eye and the generic version in the other one. In the second period, drops are switched from one eye to the other. There are intraocular pressure measurements (diurnal curves) on day 0 (before treatment), at 8 weeks (at the end of first period) and at 16 weeks (at the end of second period). Variations of intraocular pressure in each eye will be evaluated.
The purpose of the study is to assess the relationship between IOP pattern as recorded over 24 hours by using Triggerfish and quantified by acrophase scored dichotomously, and conversion to glaucoma in OHT patients (conversion status). Elevation of IOP above normal range is called "ocular hypertension" (OHT). In a previous study, it has been shown that OHT patients who progress to glaucoma (converters) have at baseline and prior to any conversion, IOP patterns that more closely resemble those of established early primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) patients, while stable OHT patients (non-converters) have IOP patterns closer to those of healthy control subjects. The study has been planned to recruit at least 48 eligible patients (24 converters and 24 non-converters).
This study will evaluate 0.03% bimatoprost in the treatment of primary open angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension.
Primary objective: The primary objective is to demonstrate the superiority of Monoprost® versus Lumigan® 0.01% and Lumigan® 0.03% Unit Dose in term of safety with respect to the assessment of conjunctival hyperaemia in the worse eye at Day 84. The conjunctival hyperaemia will be scored using the MacMonnies photographic scale (0 to 5).
