Filter by:The objective of this retrospective enrollment/prospective follow-up consecutive series PMCF study is to collect data confirming safety, performance, and clinical benefits of the Longevity IT Oblique and Offset liners when used for primary or revision total hip arthroplasty (implants and instrumentation) at a minimum of 10-year follow-up.
The main objectives of this study are to confirm the long-term safety, performance, and clinical benefits of the G7 Freedom Constrained Vivacit-E Acetabular Liners in primary and revision total hip arthroplasty.
This study is a global, multi-center, prospective, non-controlled, non-randomized, post-market clinical follow-up study. The main objectives of this study are to confirm the long-term safety, performance, and clinical benefits of the G7 Dual Mobility Acetabular System when used with the Vivacit-E or Longevity polyethylene hip bearing and instrumentation in primary total and revision (total) hip arthroplasty
This is an international, single arm, multicenter, prospective, non-significant risk, Post-Market Clinical Follow-up (PMCF) study. Data will be collected for the commercially available AEQUALIS FLEX REVIVE shoulder system in both the anatomic and reversed configurations. The purpose of this study is to collect data needed to satisfy the European Union (EU) Medical Device Regulation (MDR) clinical post-market surveillance (PMS) and reporting requirements, and to support future regulatory submissions and peer-reviewed publications on device performance and safety.

MicroPort Orthopedics Inc. (MPO) plans to market the EVOLUTION® NitrX™ Non-Porous Keeled Tibia and EVOLUTION® NitrX™ CS/CR Non-Porous Femur with the EVOLUTION® Cruciate Sacrificing (CS) Tibial Insert globally, including in the European Union (EU). MPO is conducting this post market clinical follow-up (PMCF) study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the EVOLUTION® NitrX™ Non-Porous Keeled Tibia and EVOLUTION® NitrX™ CS/CR Non-Porous Femur. These components are used along with the EVOLUTION® Cruciate Sacrificing (CS) Tibial Insert components that is marketed in the European Union (EU). This type of data collection is required by regulatory authorities for all TKA devices that do not have medium to long-term clinical evidence available.
The goal of pulp therapy in the primary dentition is to retain the primary tooth as a fully functional part of the dentition, allowing at the same time for mastication, phonation, swallowing, and the preservation of the space required for the eruption of the permanent tooth. The premature loss of primary teeth may cause changes in the chronology and sequence of eruption of permanent teeth. Maintenance of primary teeth until physiological exfoliation prevents deleterious habits in children. The primary objectives of cleaning and shaping the root canal system are removing soft and hard tissue containing bacteria, providing a path for irrigants to the apical third, supplying space for medicaments and subsequent obturation, retaining the integrity of radicular structure. The choice between pulpotomy and pulpectomy is generally based on the severity of the symptoms clinically and/or radiographically. When indicated, the primary tooth pulpotomy is a relatively simple procedure with generally good clinical results.
The overall purpose of this project is to answer the following clinical question: Among Medication-Related Osteonecrosis of the Jaw (MRONJ) patients, do those who are treated with the Pentoxifylline and Tocopherol (PENTO) regimen and standard of care, when compared to those treated with standard of care alone, have decreased areas of exposed bone after one year of treatment?
The investigators, according to the eligibility criteria, plane to choose 80 elderly anticipates who will undergo selective hip replacement surgery. This participants will be randomly divided into 2 groups:light anesthesia depth group(L Group) and deep anesthesia depth group (D Group). Before anesthesia induction, each participant will be given lumbar plexus and sciatic nerve block in order to control pain of interoperative and postoperative.During operation period, the L Group will be kept in light anesthesia depth(BIS:50-60),while the D group will be kept in deep anesthesia depth(BIS:35-45)--The BIS values in the range of 30-60 have been recommended in general anesthesia. After operation,a PCIA(patient controlled intravenous analgesia) analgesia pump will be given to each participant to control postoperative pain. The investigator will evaluate the mental state of participant with MMSE(mini-mental state examination) before surgery and review each participant with a CAM-CR for 3 days after surgery to assess the situation of postoperation delirium.intraoperative awareness, postoperative pain will also be investigated in postoperative days 1, 2, 3.
Patients harboring dolichoectactic vertebrobasilar (DVB) aneurysms are at risk of suffering SAH, ischemic stroke, and/or brainstem compression and many patients are not offered invasive treatment due to the futility of existing surgical methods. Consequently, there is demand for development of medical therapy for DVB aneurysms
