The proposed research effort will: The purpose of this study is as follows: 1. Test the effectiveness of the Minds and Mentors Program in a group treatment trial in which individuals using medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) will be randomized in blocks of five to receive either the Minds and Mentors Program (n=120) or Twelve Step Facilitation (n=120). 2. Determine whether the MiMP: a) improves adherence to MOUD b) reduces the rate of relapse and cravings c) decreases self-reported anxiety, stress, and depression and d) reduces cortisol levels and cortisol reactivity to drug cues. 3. Examine whether pre-intervention cortisol reactivity is predictive of relapse outcomes, and/ or reductions in cortisol reactivity over the course of intervention mediate relapse outcomes.

Psychosocial Pain Management to Improve Opioid Use Disorder Treatment Outcomes

The purpose of this research study is to look at the effect of programs aimed at helping people manage chronic pain and medication treatment. The program sessions focus on educational information and strategies for pain and medication management. The researchers enroll people who have chronic pain and have recently begun buprenorphine treatment to see if participants could benefit from these programs. This research study will help the researchers learn how to improve current therapies for pain and medication management.

Test the feasibility and acceptability of a twelve- week mindfulness based relapse prevention protocol in combination with peer mentoring in individuals with opioid use disorder who are on medication assisted treatment. 2. Determine whether participation in a combination of mindfulness based relapse prevention and peer mentoring in comparison with an attentional control group: a) improves adherence to MAT b) decreases relapse and cravings c) improves psychosocial outcomes such as depression, anxiety, stress and social support

The Analgesic Efficacy of Continuous Sub-fascial Bupivacaine Infusion and Lidocaine Patches in Post-cesarean Patients With Opiate Use Disorder: A Comparative Efficacy Analysis

Pregnant women with a history of opioid use disorder, chronic opioid use or those who are on medication assisted treatment will be randomly assigned to receive either a sub-fascial continuous infusion of bupivacaine or lidocaine/menthol patch after Cesarean delivery. Post-operative pain scores and opioid usage in the post-operative period will be recorded.
