This is an observational study in which data from people with cancer who had the Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) are collected and studied. In observational studies, only observations are made without specified advice or interventions. The most recently discovered coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) may cause illness in humans ranging from the common cold to serious illness, also known as COVID-19. People with cancer are particularly at risk of becoming very sick with COVID-19, especially during or shortly after a cancer treatment. Several treatments for COVID-19 have been tested in clinical studies. However, people with cancer or with recent cancer treatments were usually excluded. Tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) are used to treat several cancer types. TKIs including regorafenib and sorafenib block certain proteins, which are involved in the growth of cancer. They also have an anti-inflammatory effect and may be able to block the entry of the coronavirus into the cell. This could possibly prevent infection. However, data on COVID-19 from people with cancer receiving TKIs are missing. The main purpose of this study is to find out whether COVID-19 outcomes were different in people with cancer receiving TKIs compared to those receiving other anti-cancer drugs. To do this, researchers will compare COVID-19 outcomes within 30 days of COVID-19 diagnosis between both groups. The data for the comparison will come from databases called Optum and MarketScan. Besides this data collection, no further tests or examinations are planned in this study. There are no required visits or tests in this study. Data will be from October 2019 to June 2021 or the latest available data.

tTF-NGR Phase I Study

In this phase I clinical trial cancer patients suffering from solid tumors or lymphomas, recurring after and/or refractory against standard treatment are treated intravenously (iv) with increasing doses of tTF-NGR(tTF= truncated tissue factor; NGR=Asn-Gly-Arg). The objectives of this trial are to evaluate the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) and the dose-limiting toxicity (DLT) of intravenously (iv) infused daily applications of tTF-NGR for 5 days every 3 weeks in patients with cancer, who had obtained all standard treatment known for their disease entity prior to entry on study. Further objectives are to determine the perfusion and vascular volume fraction of measurable tumor lesions versus normal reference tissue before and after tTF-NGR application by MRI as a biological surrogate parameter for biological activity of the investigational medicinal product (IMP), tTF-NGR, and to obtain pharmacokinetic data.

Cancer Vaccine Targeting Brachyury Protein in Tumors

Background: - Cancer vaccines are being developed to help teach the body's immune system to attack and destroy cancer cells. A new vaccine being tested targets Brachyury protein. This protein is present in some tumor cells, and it can help tumor cells spread to other parts of the body. Researchers want to see whether the new Brachyury protein vaccine can help treat people with advanced carcinomas. Objectives: - To test the safety and effectiveness of a cancer vaccine that targets Brachyury protein in tumor cells. Eligibility: - Individuals at least 18 years of age who have advanced cancers that have not responded or are no longer responding to standard treatments. - Because the vaccine is made with yeast, people with yeast allergies will not be eligible. Design: - Participants will be screened with a medical history and physical exam. Imaging studies will be used to examine the cancer. Heart and thyroid function tests will be conducted. Blood and urine samples will also be collected. - Participants will receive vaccine injections every 2 weeks, for a total of seven visits. After seven visits, if the cancer has shrunk or stopped growing, participants will continue to have the vaccine about once a month. - Treatment will be monitored with frequent blood tests and imaging studies. Other tests will be given as directed by the study doctors. Some participants will have apheresis to collect additional blood cells for study. - Participants will continue to receive the vaccine as long the tumor does not start growing again and there are no serious side effects....

Primary Objectives: To determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of SAR125844. To confirm safety profile of SAR125844 when administered as single agent at the MTD. To evaluate the preliminary anti-tumoral effect of SAR125844 in patients with MET-gene amplified solid tumors (including sub-group of MET-amplified non-small cell lung cancer [NSCLC] patients) and in patients with Phospho-MET positive tumors without MET-gene amplification.
