NCT ID: NCT02540967 Completed - Clinical trials for Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Drug Use Investigation of Gadovist.

Start date: October 27, 2015
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The objectives of this study are to investigate the safety and effectiveness of Gadovist.

NCT ID: NCT02523352 Enrolling by invitation - Obesity Clinical Trials

Effects of PEEP on Heart and Lungs in Obese Subjects

Start date: April 5, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Aim of this study is to better understand pathophysiology of the alteration of respiratory mechanics and cardiovascular function in obese volunteer subjects. The investigators plan to test this hypothesis with a physiological, interventional study conducted on volunteers by using Electrical Impedance Tomography in a group of patients and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in another group.

NCT ID: NCT02481791 Recruiting - Heart Diseases Clinical Trials

Study to Evaluate the Optimal Dose of Remifentanil During MRI of the Heart Under General Anaesthesia

Start date: July 2015
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

What is the optimal maintenance dose of remifentanil to ensure apnoea, during breath hold episodes in children having cardiac MR imaging with general anaesthesia?

NCT ID: NCT02446665 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Disease Status in Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis by Elastography

Start date: October 2014
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) is a chronic liver disease that can lead to liver cirrhosis, liver failure and liver cancer. Assessment of disease status is important to determine optimal treatment but the diagnosis of PSC is challenging. There is a dire need of an accurate non-invasive tool for longitudinal assessment of PSC. MR Elastography (MRE) has been recently proven to estimate liver fibrosis noninvasively and accurately. Estimation of liver fibrosis by MRE along with imaging derived morphological information (MRCP) will be utilized in this study comprehensively to provide a surrogate non-invasive imaging biomarker for monitoring disease status in PSC. Successful outcomes will provide an opportunity for optimal treatment triage including liver transplantation via accurate and non-invasive estimation of true disease status in PSC.

NCT ID: NCT02411201 Completed - Clinical trials for Magnetic Resonance Imaging

DOTAREM Pharmacokinetics and Safety Study in Pediatric Subjects Aged < 2 Years

Start date: March 2015
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The main purpose of the study is to evaluate the pharmacokinetics of DOTAREM® in the body of children aged less than 2 years thanks to several blood samples (3 ml in total) taken following the administration of DOTAREM®. DOTAREM® is a contrast agent commonly used for enhancement of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) to potentially improve the quality of the images and help the diagnosis. Children aged less than 2 years scheduled to undergo routine gadolinium-enhanced MRI of any body region may take part in the study. In this case they will receive DOTAREM®, a solution injected at the standard dose of 0.2mL/kg (0.1 mmol/kg) of body weight.

NCT ID: NCT02360241 Completed - Clinical trials for Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Light Needle Positioning Robot Under MRI Guidance

LPRobacus
Start date: February 2015
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study aim is to evaluate the needle positioning precision, compared to the real path planned by the physician on healthy voluntaries, by positioning a fictional needle, without inserting it. Additionally, this study will evaluate: - the robot precision, - the robot detection robustness, - the software and device ergonomics, - the device security.

NCT ID: NCT02357082 Completed - Clinical trials for Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Mayo Clinic Cardiac Implantable Electronic Device MRI Registry

Start date: December 2016
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

Registry intends to prospectively collect data regarding the safety of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) studies in patients with cardiac pacemakers on implantable cardioverter defibrillators.

NCT ID: NCT02318550 Completed - Clinical trials for Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Registry of Patients for MRI With Non-MRI Conditional Pacemakers and ICD Non-MRI Conditional Pacemakers and ICD

Start date: December 2014
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The purpose of the registry is to accumulate pre-and post-scan device interrogation data for the purpose of determining the risk of MRI for patients with implantable devices.

NCT ID: NCT02222844 Recruiting - Cancer Clinical Trials

Improving Radical Treatment Through MRI Evaluation of Pelvic Sigmoid Cancers

IMPRESS
Start date: August 2014
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Patients with suspected or proven sigmoid colon adenocarcinoma, eligible for curative treatment whose MRI can be reviewed prior to surgery and has no decision regarding radical treatment are eligible. Patient are randomised to the control arm which the standard care of preoperative CT imaging and subsequent discussion by the Multidisciplinary Team or the interventional arm which has the additional use of MRI imaging and subsequent discussion by the Multidisciplinary Team. Patients are followed up at 1 and 3 years together with QoL questionnaires.

NCT ID: NCT02195024 Terminated - Clinical trials for Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Cardiac MRI After Pacemaker Replacement

MRI-rePACE
Start date: July 2014
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

Aim of this trial is to investigate feasibility of cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (cMRI) in patients with long term implanted coradial leads upgraded to an MRI conditional pacemaker system, to assess MR-image quality and to prove the safety of MRI in this specific population in the short term as well as during long term follow-up.
