NCT ID: NCT03471884 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

Effects of Nonintubated Thoracoscopic Lobectomy on Lung Protection

Start date: March 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

A novel nonintubated thoracoscopic technique is promising to enhance recovery after thoracic surgery. However, the effects of nonintubated technique on specific organ protection in not clear yet. In this randomized trial, the effect of nonintubated technique on lung function protection will be evaluated via PaO2/FiO2 ratio, oxidative stress and inflammatory cytokines serially in lung cancer patients undergoing thoracoscopic lobectomy.

NCT ID: NCT03251157 Completed - Asthma Clinical Trials

Dietary Intake in Adults From the GA2LEN Folow-up Survey

Start date: January 1, 2007
Phase: N/A

Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

Aim of this study was to prospectively investigate the correlation between postoperative spirometry values and pulmonary complications after anatomic lung resections. In addition, the investigators compared postoperative pulmonary function changes between open and minimally invasive approaches.

NCT ID: NCT03052491 Completed - Quality of Life Clinical Trials

Effects of a 10 Component Dietary Supplement on Health and the Quality of Life

Start date: March 12, 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This open-label field trial evaluates the effects of treatment with a multi-pathway dietary supplement (Stem Cell 100+) that has been commercially available for several years. The objective of the intervention trial is to determine if normal subjects over 35 years of age experience any observable health benefits from the dietary supplement as to their blood pressure, pulse rate, blood cholesterol, lung capacity, stress levels, or self reported changes in markers of overall health and life expectancy.
