Investigation of the Contents and Prognostic Values of Glucose Metabolism Molecules in Patients With Lung Adenocarcinoma

Start date: January 1, 2014
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

Detect the contents of glucose metabolism molecules in the tumor and adjacent normal samples of about 100 patients with lung adenocarcinoma using mass spectroscopy. Analyze the correlation between the contents and the clinicopathological characteristics and survival.

NCT ID: NCT03611738 Active, not recruiting - Lung Cancer Clinical Trials

Ceritinib Plus Docetaxel in ALK-Negative, EGFR WT Advanced NSCLC

Start date: February 1, 2019
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The main purpose of this study is to find out what effects (good and bad) ceritinib (Zykadia®) used in combination with docetaxel (Taxotere®) will have on participants and their cancer. The results will help to determine the best safe dose of the combination of the medications Ceritinib (Zykadia®) and docetaxel (Taxotere®) and to find out if this combination of drugs will help people that have this type of Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC).

NCT ID: NCT03575793 Active, not recruiting - Lung Cancer Clinical Trials

A Phase I/II Study of Nivolumab, Ipilimumab and Plinabulin in Patients With Recurrent Small Cell Lung Cancer

Start date: September 6, 2018
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is an open-label Phase I/II study, with a dose escalation part (Phase I) and a single-arm part (Phase II), in patients with recurrent SCLC who progressed after first-line platinum-based chemotherapy and who are candidates for second line therapy. No PK evaluation is planned in this study as nivolumab and ipilimumab are unlikely to alter plinabulin's PK, since the route of excretion is different.

NCT ID: NCT03567642 Active, not recruiting - Lung Cancer Clinical Trials

A Study of the Combination of Osimertinib, Platinum and Etoposide for Patients With Metastatic EGFR Mutant Lung Cancers

Start date: June 12, 2018
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to test the safety of combining Osimertinib with either Cisplatin or Carboplatin (at different dose levels) and Etoposide, to find out what effects, if any, this combination of drugs has on people with EGFR mutant lung cancer.

NCT ID: NCT03567538 Active, not recruiting - Lung Cancer Clinical Trials

National Register Studies in Thoracic Surgery

Start date: January 1, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The overall project aim is to study risk and outcomes following thoracic surgery by cross-linking high-quality national Swedish health-data registers for population-based investigations of individual level clinically relevant patient data.

NCT ID: NCT03563976 Active, not recruiting - Lung Cancer Clinical Trials

Multiparametric Image Analysis and Correlation With Outcomes in Lung Cancer Screening and Early Stage Lung Cancer

Start date: February 18, 2015
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Determine whether CT-based multiparametric analytical models may improve prediction of biopsy and treatment outcome in patients undergoing screening CT scan and/or treatment for early stage lung cancer

NCT ID: NCT03523546 Active, not recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Oncology Episode Payment Model in Hawaii

Start date: August 1, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The HMSA Cancer Episode Payment Model (CEM) is a payment model designed to test the effects of better care coordination on health outcomes and costs of care for Hawaii Medical Services Association (HMSA) members with cancer who receive chemotherapy.

NCT ID: NCT03436329 Active, not recruiting - Lung Cancer Clinical Trials

Reduced Dissemination of Tumor Cells With Primary Ligation of the Vein in Patients With Lung Cancer

Start date: December 1, 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to assess the impact of the sequence of vessel interruption in lung cancer patients on tumor cell spread and patient survival by using peripheral blood circulating tumor cells.

NCT ID: NCT03426306 Active, not recruiting - Lung Cancer Clinical Trials

A Novel Lung Function Imaging Modality as a Preoperative Evaluation Tool (LIME)

Start date: March 21, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

To evaluate the correlation between pre-surgical 4DCT-ventilation imaging and post-surgical lung function.

NCT ID: NCT03413449 Active, not recruiting - Lung Cancer Clinical Trials

A Prospective Study Frailty for Esophagectomy and Lung Resection in Thoracic Surgery

Start date: January 8, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this study is to develop an all-encompassing frailty model using laboratory and functional studies. A frailty model will help us determine prior to surgery who will require rehabilitation and skilled nursing needs beyond discharge. This model will also help us determine who will likely be readmitted and why they will be readmitted. Understanding these things can help us prevent some of them from occurring in the future.
