Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This is an open-label, multicenter, First-In-Human (FIH), Phase 1a/1b study of PY159 in subjects with locally advanced (unresectable) and/or metastatic solid tumors that are refractory or relapsed to Standard Of Care (including Checkpoint Inhibitors, if approved for that indication).

NCT ID: NCT04625647 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Stage IV Lung Cancer AJCC v8

Testing the Use of Targeted Treatment (AMG 510) for KRAS G12C Mutated Advanced Non-squamous Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (A Lung-MAP Treatment Trial)

Start date: April 16, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase II Lung-MAP treatment trial studies the effect of AMG 510 in treating non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer that is stage IV or has come back (recurrent) and has a specific mutation in the KRAS gene, known as KRAS G12C. Mutations in this gene may cause the cancer to grow. AMG 510, a targeted treatment against the KRAS G12C mutation, may help stop the growth of tumor cells.

NCT ID: NCT04588064 Recruiting - Lung Adenocarcinoma Clinical Trials

18F-FDG and 68Ga-FAPI PET/CT in Lung Adenocarcinoma

Start date: July 1, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

To evaluate the potential usefulness of 68Ga-FAPI positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) for the diagnosis of primary and metastatic lesions in lung adenocarcinoma, compared with 18F-FDG PET/CT.

NCT ID: NCT04554875 Recruiting - Lung Adenocarcinoma Clinical Trials

Derivation and Validation of a Scoring System to Distinguish Cryptococcosis and Adenocarcinoma in Pulmonary Nodules

Start date: January 1, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Pulmonary cryptococcosis often manifests as isolated or multiple nodules, easily mimicking lung cancer clinically and radiologically, which ascribes the poor sensitivity of Cryptococcus culture and rarely positive of Cryptococcal antigen test in the absence of disseminated disease. Therefore, the aim of this study was to develop a predictive scoring system from the perspective of available clinical indicators, to differentiate cryptococcosis from adenocarcinoma in pulmonary nodules, which might be beneficial for the delicacy management of pulmonary nodules.

NCT ID: NCT04482829 Not yet recruiting - Lung Adenocarcinoma Clinical Trials

TCM in the Treatment of Lung Adenocarcinoma

Start date: September 15, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Jin-yuan-kang granule in the treatment of lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) preliminarily, and provide reference for further study.

NCT ID: NCT04339218 Recruiting - Lung Adenocarcinoma Clinical Trials

Cryoablation in Combination (or Not) With Pembrolizumab and Pemetrexed-carboplatin in 1st-line Treatment for Patients With Metastatic Lung Adenocarcinoma

CRYOMUNE
Start date: August 28, 2020
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study aims to compare the one-year survival benefit of the association of cryoablation-pembrolizumab-pemetrexed-carboplatin versus pembrolizumab-pemetrexed-carboplatin in metastatic lung adenocarcinoma patients. This is a multicenter, prospective, open-labeled, 2-arm comparative randomized (1:1) phase III trial. Patients will be randomized with a 1:1 ratio into: - Arm A (experimental arm): cryoablation of one visceral lesion or bone metastasis excluding liver and sclerotic bone metastases combined with pembrolizumab and pemetrexed-carboplatin prescribed as per market authorization. - Arm B (standard arm): pembrolizumab and pemetrexed-carboplatin prescribed as per market authorization. Pembrolizumab and pemetrexed-carboplatin will be prescribed and administered at the dose recommended by market authorization. Cryoablation treatment should be performed within 6 weeks after the first administration of pembrolizumab. No treatment switching permitted.

NCT ID: NCT04119024 Recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Gene Modified Immune Cells (IL13Ralpha2 CAR T Cells) After Conditioning Regimen for the Treatment of Stage IIIC or IV Melanoma or Metastatic Solid Tumors

Start date: November 27, 2019
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of modified immune cells (IL13Ralpha2 CAR T cells) after a chemotherapy conditioning regimen for the treatment of patients with stage IIIC or IV melanoma or solid tumors that have spread to other places in the body (metastatic). The study agent is called IL13Ralpha2 CAR T cells. T cells are a special type of white blood cell (immune cells) that have the ability to kill tumor cells. The T cells are obtained from the patient's own blood, grown in a laboratory, and modified by adding the IL13Ralpha2 CAR gene. The IL13Ralpha2 CAR gene is inserted into T cells with a virus called a lentivirus. The lentivirus allows cells to make the IL13Ralpha2 CAR protein. This CAR has been designed to bind to a protein on the surface of tumor cells called IL13Ralpha2. This study is being done to determine the dose at which the gene-modified immune cells are safe, how long the cells stay in the body, and if the cells are able to attack the cancer.

NCT ID: NCT03922828 Completed - Lung Cancer Clinical Trials

Lung Nodule Prospective Database

Start date: May 1, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

Lung cancer is one of the most common cancers in the Singapore population, being the 2nd most commonly diagnosed cancer amongst males and 3rd most commonly diagnosed cancer amongst females. Pulmonologists, oncologists and thoracic surgeons are often consulted for the evaluation of imaging-identified pulmonary nodules. These may have been identified either incidentally or through screening. The majority of these are indeterminate and definitive investigation with biopsy or resection is invasive and not without risk. Hence, current consensus guidelines adopt a largely expectant strategy in the management of these indeterminate pulmonary nodules. There is substantial evidence that lung cancer in Asians may be unique with multiple driver mutations, lower age of presentation and may be independent of tobacco exposure. In addition, there are guidelines that recommend that the management of lung nodules in Asia should account for these differences. However, the evidence for alternative recommendations is lacking. The aim of the study will be to identify radiological and clinical predictors that can improve the diagnosis of lung nodules. These predictors may help build a model for lung nodule evaluation and surveillance. Prospective database of subjects meeting all of the following inclusion criteria to participate in this study. 1. Evidence of lung nodule on chest radiograph or Computed Tomography regardless of underlying aetiology 2. Age ³ 21 years old 3. Ability to provide informed consent This study will collect existing or prospective data that is part of standard clinical care from the electronic medical record of patients (ambulatory and inpatient from May 2018-2023.
