Filter by:This research study is evaluating whether primary palliative care is an alternative strategy to specialty palliative care for improving quality of life, symptoms, mood, coping, and end of life outcomes in patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
Patients with medical conditions requiring allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (allo-HCT) are at risk of developing a condition called graft versus host disease (GvHD) which carries a high morbidity and mortality. This is a phase I/II study that will test the safety and efficacy of hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) with ex-vivo T cell receptor Alpha/Beta+ and CD19 depletion to treat patients' underlying condition. This process is expected to substantially decrease the risk of GvHD thus allowing for the elimination of immunosuppressive therapy post-transplant. The study will use blood stem/progenitor cells collected from the peripheral blood of parent or other half-matched (haploidentical) family member donor. The procedure will be performed using CliniMACS® TCRα/β-Biotin System which is considered investigational.
In this study, tagraxofusp (Tag) is given to patients with CD 123+ myelofibrosis (MF), chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML), and acute myeloid leukemia (AML) after allogeneic stem cell transplant (HCT) to help prevent relapse. Patients will receive up to about 9 cycles of treatment with Tag and have a bone marrow biopsy after cycle 4 and about 1 year after HCT.
This is an open-label, nonrandomized, investigator-initiated clinical trial to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and efficacy of anti-CD33/CLL1 CAR-NK cell injection in patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), and to determine PK parameters, maximum tolerated dose (MTD), and phase II recommended dose (RP2D) for subjects receiving CAR-NK cell injection.

This study evaluates the safety and tolerability of escalating doses of BP1002 (Liposomal Bcl-2 Antisense Oligodeoxynucleotide) in patients with refractory/relapsed AML. The study is designed to assess the safety profile, identify DLTs, biologically effective doses, PK, PD and potential anti-leukemic effects of BP1002 as single agent (dose escalation phase) followed by assessing BP1002 in combination with decitabine (dose expansion phase).
The purpose of this clinical trial is to learn about the safety and effects of the study medicine (called Mylotarg) for the potential treatment of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). AML is a disease that affects the body's white blood cells. This study is seeking participants in Korea who: - Are 18 years of age or older - Are adults and newly diagnosed with AML - Currently receive Mylotarg for AML treatment in a hospital - Are capable of a personally signed and dated informed consent document indicating that the participant (or a legally acceptable representative) has been informed of all pertinent aspects of the study. Participant's health will be closely monitored for any unwanted reactions during Mylotarg treatment. Disease progression will also be monitored. This will help determine if Mylotarg is safe to use and its effect on AML treatment.
A study to evaluate if the randomized addition of venetoclax to a chemotherapy backbone (fludarabine/cytarabine/gemtuzumab ozogamicin [GO]) improves survival of children/adolescents/young adults with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) in 1st relapse who are unable to receive additional anthracyclines, or in 2nd relapse.
This phase I trial tests the safety, side effects, and best dose of uproleselan in combination with fludarabine and cytarabine in treating patients with acute myeloid leukemia, myelodysplastic syndrome or mixed phenotype acute leukemia that has come back (relapsed) or does not respond to treatment (refractory) and that expresses E-selectin ligand on the cell membrane. Uproleselan binds to E-selectin expressed on endothelial cells of the bone marrow and prevents their interaction with selectin-E ligand-expressing cancer cells. This may prevent leukemia cells from being sequestered in the bone marrow niche and escaping the effect of chemotherapy. Chemotherapy drugs, such as fludarabine and cytarabine, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving uproleselan in combination with fludarabine and cytarabine may enhance their activity.
