NCT ID: NCT03769051 Completed - Clinical trials for Cow's Milk Protein Allergy

Study on The Oral Immune Tolerance of CMPA Infants Using Amino Acid Formula

Start date: June 20, 2015
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The main purpose of this study was to observe the effect of amino acid formula on infants with cow's milk protein allergy; to evaluate the role of food avoidance and Open Food Challenge test in the diagnosis of infants with cow's milk protein allergy; to observe the allergic process in infants with cow's milk protein allergy and to explore the criteria for diagnosis and treatment.

NCT ID: NCT03757832 Completed - Clinical trials for Determine the Number of Anatomical Sites at Which Successful Thermoacoustic Fat Measurements Can be Made From Five Acquisitions Using the FLIP ITA Device

Fatty Liver Imaging Project

FLIP
Start date: September 20, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study is being done to test the FLIP device, a novel device developed and manufactured by Endra Life Sciences, located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The purpose of the device is to measure the fat content of liver tissue to assist in the diagnosis of fatty liver disease. This feasibility study will involve 25 healthy volunteers having their liver imaged by traditional ultrasound and MRI methods as well as using the FLIP device. The data obtained by the FLIP will be compared with the data obtained by ultrasound and MRI in order to determine the effectiveness of the device. This is a preliminary study to see if the investigational device could eventually be used to image the liver alongside traditional ultrasound for discerning fat concentration.

NCT ID: NCT03750851 Completed - Dentin Sensitivity Clinical Trials

CPP-ACPF and Laser's Effect on Dentin Hypersensitivity

Start date: June 11, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of casein phosphopeptide amorphous calcium phosphate fluoride paste (CPP-ACPF) associated with low level laser therapy (LLLT) in the symptomatology and on the quality of life of the individuals with dentin hypersensitivity in a randomized placebo-controlled clinical trial. Volunteers 18 to 50 years old with hypersensitive teeth were randomized into 4 groups: GPlacebo - positioning of the laser tip without light emission + placebo dentifrice; GCPPACPF - positioning of the laser tip without light emission + CPP-ACPF application; GLaser - laser tip positioning with light emission + placebo dentifrice; GLaserCPPACPF - positioning and light emission of the laser beam + CPP-ACPF.

NCT ID: NCT03746860 Completed - Clinical trials for Allergic Rhinitis Due to House Dust Mite

N.I.S of AIT in Adult Patients With House Dust Mite Allergy in Real Practice in France

CARIOCA
Start date: May 9, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Non-interventional study to investigate the safety and tolerability of allergy immunotherapy ACARIZAX® 12 SQ-HDM in real-life clinical practice in adults patients (>18 years) with house dust mite allergy over a period of 12 months.

NCT ID: NCT03743220 Completed - Clinical trials for Drug Hypersensitivity

Drug Provocation Test (DPT) to Non Steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs (NSAID)

NSAID
Start date: December 1, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Background : Non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are responsible for 25% of reported adverse drug events which include immunological and non-immunological hypersensitivity reactions. NSAIDs have been reported to be the second most common cause of drug-induced hypersensitivity reaction (DHR). They are almost mandatory in a human life and therefore, the drug allergy work-up goes up until a DPT in order to confirm or rule out the diagnosis. Objective: Detect eliciting dose thresholds during NSAIDs DPT in order to suggest optimal step doses and to describe subgroups at higher risk during the DPT Methods:This retrospective study, using the survival analysis, comprised all patients who attended the allergy service of the UH of Montpellier from 1997 till 2017 with a clinical history related to NSAIDs DHR, who underwent NDAIDs DPT that turned positive and who gave their consent to be included in the study . The Patients are selected from the Drug Allergy & Hypersensitivity Database (DAHD).

NCT ID: NCT03741309 Completed - Clinical trials for Dentinal Hypersensitivity

Comparison of Clinical Efficacy of a Dentifrice Containing 5% Fluoro Calcium Phosphosilicate to a Dentifrice Containing Calcium Sodium Phosphosilicate on Dentinal Hypersensitivity

Start date: December 20, 2017
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Aim of this study was to assess and compare the efficacy of a dentifrice containing 5% fluoro calcium phosphosilicate and dentifrice containing calcium sodium phosphosilicate on Dentinal Hypersensitivity (DH) compared to a placebo over a period of 6 weeks.

NCT ID: NCT03739047 Completed - Feeding Disorder Clinical Trials

Desensitization to Reduce Oral Hypersensitivity and Improve Intake for Children With Feeding Disorders

Start date: December 10, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Many children with feeding disorders frequently gag, vomit, spit out their food, and/or hold food in their cheeks. These behaviors make it difficult for children to eat enough food to grow. The purpose of this study is to evaluate if a specific behavioral feeding intervention called desensitization is an effective intervention to improve oral intake in children with feeding disorders by decreasing gagging, vomiting, spitting, and holding food in the cheeks. The study will enroll eligible children (6) and their caretakers (6) in the study and they will receive behavioral feeding treatment. All treatment sessions will be videotaped and the study will last a maximum 8 weeks after the first treatment visit, or until treatment goals have been met.

Start date: December 22, 2017
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Aim of this study was to assess and compare the efficacy of a dentifrice containing 5% fluoro calcium phosphosilicate and dentifrice containing potassium nitrate on Dentinal Hypersensitivity (DH) compared to a placebo over a period of 6 weeks.
