View clinical trials related to Hypercholesterolemia.
Filter by:A phase Ⅲ, multi-center, randomized, double-blinded, active comparator, factorial design clinical trial to compare the efficacy and safety of a combination therapy of ezetimibe and rosuvastatin versus monotherapy of rosuvastatin in hypercholesterolemia patients.
The study will assess the safety and tolerability of Ezetimibe 10 mg+ Rosuvastatin 2.5 mg and Ezetimibe 10 mg+ Rosuvastatin 5.0 mg for up to 52 weeks in Japanese participants with hypercholesterolemia uncontrolled with monotherapy of Ezetimibe 10 mg or Rosuvastatin up to 5 mg.
This study will evaluate the efficacy and safety and tolerability of 2 dose levels of MK-0653H in Japanese participants. The primary hypotheses are that the administration of MK-0653H is safe and tolerable and that MK-0653H is superior to single entity of Ezetimibe and Rosuvastatin in percent reduction from baseline in low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C) after 12 weeks of treatment.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of 12 weeks of subcutaneous evolocumab taken monthly compared with subcutaneous placebo taken monthly on low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus and high blood cholesterol on a maximally tolerated oral dose of statin of at least moderate-intensity.
To investigate the effect of a supplement capsule containing LRC™ (L. reuteri NCIMB 30242), taken twice daily with lunch and dinner (NLT 2.5E9 CFU per dose), versus placebo capsule on serum low density lipoprotein (LDL)-cholesterol in otherwise healthy hypercholesterolemic adults after 9 weeks of product consumption.
The aim of the study is to understand more about how different fatty acids modulate postprandial lipid metabolism and inflammatory response.
The main aim of the study is to investigate the effect of daily consumption of a margarine enriched with plant sterol esters and fish oil on fasting triglycerides (TG) concentrations. The study also aims to investigate the effect of plant sterols and fish oil on fasting total cholesterol (TC), Low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), High-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) and non-HDL-C. At last, the effect of plant sterols and fish oil on fasting apolipoprotein concentrations will be explored.
The purpose of this study was to assess the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of multiple doses of Gemcabene in patients with HoFH on stable, lipid-lowering therapy.
The investigators have recently observed retrospectively that the occurrence of Graves' Orbitopathy in patients with Graves' disease is less frequent in patients with normal cholesterol levels, in line with another recent observation suggesting that statins play a protective role in Graves' patients from developing Graves' Orbitopathy. The present study is designed in order to investigate the possible association between Graves' Orbitopathy and high cholesterol level as well as the relation between Graves' Orbitopathy degree and high cholesterol level
Identified the efficacy of Antroquinonol (Hocena 50mg) in triglyceride, lipid-lowering and fatty liver.
