The goal of this pilot study is to develop a novel caregiver education and coaching intervention for infants with intraventricular hemorrhage (IVH) and their caregivers during the NICU to home transition. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. Development of a novel caregiver education and coaching intervention focused on infant development and caregiver needs to "bridge the gap" during the NICU to home transition 2. Pilot test the feasibility, acceptability, and efficacy of this program for infants with intraventricular hemorrhage (IVH) and their caregivers.

A Study Evaluating the Safety and Efficacy of Neuroprotective Peptide CN-105 Peptide in Patients With Acute Supratentorial Intracerebral Hemorrhage

Intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is a devastating form of cerebrovascular disease for which there are no approved therapeutics that improve outcomes. Apolipoprotein E (apoE) has emerged as a promising therapeutic target given its isoform-specific neuroprotective properties and ability to modulate neuroinflammatory responses. We developed a 5-amino acid peptide, CN-105, that mimics the polar face of the apoE helical domain involved in receptor interactions, readily crosses the blood-brain barrier, and improves outcomes in well-established preclinical ICH models. In the current study, aim to assess the safety and the efficacy of CN-105 after administration for three consecutive days in participants with acute supratentorial ICH at three different dosages.

This was a multicenter, prospective, randomized controlled clinical trail involved tracheostomized patients with Intracerebral Hemorrhage.The goal of this clinical trial is to compare the clinical effect of Intermittent Oro-esophageal Tube Feeding vs Nasogastric Tube Feeding in Tracheostomized Patients with Intracerebral Hemorrhage. The main questions it aims to answer are: Compared to Nasogastric Tube Feeding, can the Intermittent Oro-esophageal Tube Feeding better improve the nutritional status, extubation of tracheostomy tube, pulmonary infection, neurological deficit of Patients with Intracerebral Hemorrhage Compared to Nasogastric Tube Feeding, is the Intermittent Oro-esophageal Tube Feeding safer. Participants will be divided into two groups randomly, with different nutritional support respectively.

Concordance Between the Measurement of Whole Blood Fibrinogen by the qLabs®FIB Analyzer and Its Measurement by Conventional Method (Clauss Fibrinogen) in the Context of Severe Postpartum Haemorrhage

In France in 2021, 11.6% of deliveries were complicated by a postpartum haemorrhage (PPH), including 3.0% by severe PPH (the bleeding volume exceeds 1000 ml). Severe PPH is the 5th cause of maternal death (8.4% or 1.2 deaths per 100,000 live births). These deaths were considered preventable in 90% of cases. A plasma fibrinogen concentration below 2 g/L is considered as a critical threshold which constitutes a marker of severity of PPH and is significantly associated with the occurrence of severe PPH. Measuring the concentration of fibrinogen using a rapid test, simple to perform and interpret, available in the delivery room could optimize the management of severe PPH. The qLabs®FIB analyzer distributed by the Stago Biocare laboratory for the rapid determination of the fibrinogen concentration at the patient's bedside could meet this objective.

The main goal of this study is to assess whether the diagnostic efficacy of enema is non-inferior to that of oral polyethylene glycol (PEG) in acute lower gastrointestinal bleeding (ALGIB) patients requiring urgent colonoscopy. The secondary objectives include: 1) evaluating potential differences between the enema and oral PEG groups in terms of the difficulty and safety of colonoscopy, as well as exacerbation of bleeding; 2) conducting subgroup analyses to compare the effectiveness of the two bowel preparation methods in specific populations, exploring potential candidate groups for different bowel preparation strategies, and promoting individualized diagnosis and treatment for ALGIB.

Conservative Management of Placenta Accreta Spectrum

The resective-constructive surgery, detailed in prior research by Palacios-Jaraquemada JM, involves excising the placenta and its attachment on the myometrium, with modifications including the systematic use of a double JJ probe, omitting arterial ligation, and prioritizing careful dissection and reconstruction. A prospective single-center study conducted from January 4, 2020, to August 17, 2022, at the Tunisian maternity center included cases of placenta accreta and increta, excluding placenta percreta. Data on operative metrics, complications, transfusions, and ICU admissions were recorded. Diagnosis of placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) relied on imaging and histopathology, with exclusion criteria applied. Surgeons attained proficiency through supervised surgeries. Blood loss calculation incorporated total blood volume and hematocrit changes.

Early Intensive Antihypertensive Treatment in High-Risk Population of intraCerebral Hemorrhage ExpanSion Predicted by Artificial Intelligence

The goal of this clinical trial is to clarify the efficacy, safety and feasibility of early intensive antihypertensive treantment in intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) patients at high risk of hematoma expansion based on artificial intelligence prediction. The main question it aims to answer are: - Can ICH patients at high risk of hematoma expansion based on artificial intelligence prediction benefit from early intensive antihypertensive treatment? - Is early intensive antihypertensive treatment safe to patients at high risk of hematoma expansion based on artificial intelligence prediction. Participants will accept intensive antihypertensive treatment (target systolic blood pressure: 130-140mmHg) at early stage (within 1 hour after randomization) of cerebral hemorrhage and maitain the target blood pressure for 7 days. Researchers will compare standard treatment group (target systolic blood pressure 140-180mmHg after randomization) to see if intensive antihypertensive treatment can improve the outcome of patients with ICH.
