Filter by:The purpose of this study is to assess whether a cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) for fatigue intervention is acceptable, feasible, and effective at managing fatigue and improving quality of life for patients following hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HCT).
The goal of this research study is to determine whether a self-administered, psychosocial mobile application (CARE app) is effective at improving the quality of life and experience of caregivers of patients receiving hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HCT).
The goal of this clinical trial is to examine feasibility of a cognitive intervention program in blood cancer survivors. The main questions it aims to answer are: - is it feasible to combine a ketogenic diet supplementation and online cognitive training in an intervention program - will patients using the combined intervention program have improved cognitive functioning compared to those who don't use it - how long will the intervention programs effects last Participants randomized to the intervention arm will consume an exogenous ketogenic supplementation and use an online cognitive training program for 12 weeks, while waitlist arm functions as a control group and will receive the online cognitive training only after a wait period of 12 weeks. Researchers will compare the intervention and waitlist control groups to see if the intervention improves cognitive functioning.
This phase studies the engineered red blood cells with PD-1 inhibitor pembrolizumab(WTX212), the natural biological metabolic function of red blood cells can make the carried pembrolizumab directionally distributed in the spleen tissue and activitate T cells, suggesting that this product may solve the problem that PD-1 treatment failure.
This is a phase I study to evaluate the safety ,Tolerability, PK, PD, and preliminary efficacy of BC3402 Monotherapy in MDS or CMML, and explore the RP2D/MTD dose. The patients with very low,low,intermediate,or high,very high risk of MDS or CMML,who meet the criteria will receive BC3402 as a single agent via intravenous infusion Q3W , Up to 3 dose cohorts will be sequentially enrolled using an accelerated titration combined with a "3+3 design" approach.Dose limiting toxicities (DLT) will be assessed during the first cycles (i.e., total 3 weeks). A Safety Monitoring Committee (SMC), comprised of the Sponsor's medical representatives, safety physician, and the principal investigator (PI), will be established for the determination of dose levels to be administered and dose regimen during dose escalation based on the data available from the previous dose levels. Additional dose levels may be explored based on the emerging safety, PK, and PD data during the study.
The goal of this observational study is to compare the immune function and infection mechanism of patients with hematologic tumors and those people without underlying diseases after infection with SARS-CoV-2. Clinical characteristics, treatment options and responses will be collected. Peripheral blood will be collected from patients with hematologic tumors infected with SARS-CoV-2 and those people without underlying diseases infected with SARS-CoV-2.
The goal of this study is to determine whether a palliative care intervention (PEACE) can improve the quality of life and experiences of participants with Lymphoma, Leukemia, or Multiple Myeloma receiving adoptive cellular therapy (ACT). After completion of an open pilot, participants will be randomly assigned into one of two study intervention groups. The names of the study intervention groups involved in this study are: - Palliative care (PEACE) plus usual oncology care - Usual care (standard oncology care) Participation in this research study is expected to last for up to 2 years. It is expected that about 90 people will take part in this research study.
This project is an open, dose escalation and expansion phase I clinical study. The first phase is a dose escalation study, and the second phase is a dose expansion study based on the Maximum tolerated dose (MTD) / Recommended Phase II Dose (RP2D) obtained in the first phase. The purpose is to evaluate the tolerability and preliminary efficacy of TQB3702 tablets in hematological tumor subjects.
The aim of this interventional study is to determine the effect of the mobile application on quality of life and supportive care in patient undergoing stem cell transplantation.The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. What is the effect of the education given with the mobile application on the quality of life of stem cell transplant patients? 2. What is the effect of the education given with the mobile application on supportive care of stem cell transplant patients? 3. What is the effect of the education given with the mobile application on anxiety levels of stem cell transplant patients? In the study, patients will be randomized into the group in which standard processes are applied and the group trained by the mobile application.
Background: Many advances have been made in cancer treatments, but more research is needed. Comparing samples of cancerous tissue to samples of normal, noncancerous tissues may help find differences between them. These differences may help researchers find new ways to treat cancer. Objective: To collect tissues and blood samples from people with known or suspected cancer. The samples will be used to help identify new targets for cancer treatments. Eligibility: People aged 18 years and older with a known or suspected cancer that requires surgery or biopsy. Design: Participants will be screened. They will answer questions about their health. They can do this on the phone or in person. Researchers will collect information from participants medical records. Data may include information about any prior or current cancers. Data about other medical conditions may also be collected. Participants will have blood drawn. Some of the blood will be tested for HIV and hepatitis B and C. Some of the blood will be used for genetic research. Participants will have tissue samples collected during surgeries or biopsies. These are procedures the participants would have had as part of their standard care. No new procedures will be done just for this study. Researchers may also seek out samples from prior procedures the participant had done. Participants will remain in the study for 6 months. They may have blood drawn again. Researchers may also collect tissue samples from any procedures performed during that time.
