NCT ID: NCT06342427 Recruiting - Gastric Cancer Clinical Trials

Stomach Cancer Exosome-based Detection

DESTINEX
Start date: March 15, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Gastric cancer continues to have a poor prognosis primarily due to the inability to detect it in its early stages. This study will develop and validate a blood assay to facilitate the non-invasive detection of gastric cancer.

NCT ID: NCT05854368 Recruiting - Gastric Cancer Clinical Trials

Circulating Biomarker Signatures for the Detection of Gastric Preneoplasia and Cancer

PREGASIGN#1
Start date: July 3, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this study is to characterize and validate a signature of circulating biomarkers in plasma, associated with the presence of gastric preneoplasia in patients with preexisting gastric lesion compared with a control group. For this purpose: - Patients with pre-existing gastric lesions will be invited to participate to this study. If they are willing to participate an additional blood sample (10mL) will be collected at the time of the blood collection performed during their routine care - Healthy subjects will be invited to participate to constitute the control group. If they are willing to participate a blood sample (10 ml) will be drawn specifically for this study

NCT ID: NCT05551416 Recruiting - Gastric Cancer Clinical Trials

The EpiGASTRIC/EDGAR Project: New Strategies for the Early Detection and Prevention of Gastric Cancer

Start date: September 9, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

This study is a multicenter, prospective cohort study, which are planned to enroll at least 600 patients who diagnosed the primary gastric cancer (GC); around 50 patients with premalignant gastric lesions (PGLs) and early gastric neoplasias (EGC) treated by endoscopy resection; and no less than 600 healthy normal cohort participants, for more than 18 months in the Spanish population. All participants who enrolled in this registry will be questioned by the life habits survey; and clinical data and biological samples of these participants were analyzed in order to look for new diagnostic tools. The aim of this study is to evaluate clinical, endoscopic and molecular approaches to identify individuals with high-risk of GC. Thus, it would be allow the adoption of preventive measures to reduce mortality through early detection and/or the reduction of its incidence.

NCT ID: NCT05484128 Recruiting - Probiotic Clinical Trials

Lactobacillus Reuteri Strain Combination in Children Treated With PPI

Start date: March 4, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Probiotics might be of help in preventing dysbiosis and emergence of SIBO. Gastrus consisted of a mixture of two human strains of L. Reuteri DSM 17938 and ATCC PTA 6475; the first have extensive data supporting its use in gastric infections (18) however, it lacks the anti-inflammatory properties that have been provided by L. Reuteri DSM ATCC PTA 6475 that has excellent acid resistance and has strong anti-inflammatory properties (19); for these reasons, Gastrus is the best candidate for this indication.

NCT ID: NCT03658473 Completed - Gastric Lesion Clinical Trials

Evaluation of Rebamipide and Rabeprazole Effect Associated or Not to Prevent Naproxen-induced Gastric Lesions

Start date: November 12, 2014
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This clinical trial evaluated the gastroprotection obtained by the use of rebamipide 300 mg (2x daily) and rabeprazole 20 mg/day (1x daily) associated or not in the prevention of gastric lesions induced by naproxen 1100 mg/day) for 7 days to healthy volunteers of both sexes. This trial also assessed drugs safety and tolerability, the prostaglandin levels (PGE2) in biopsy specimens before and after treatment of each group and the histopathological changes induced by the treatment of each group.
