NCT ID: NCT02997553 Completed - Clinical trials for Head and Neck Cancer

Fluorescence for Sentinel Lymph Node Identification in Cancer Surgery

GASVERT
Start date: November 29, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a single-center prospective clinical trial to evaluate non-inferiority of indocyanine green guided sentinel lymph node biopsy compared with the gold standard Technecium99 guided sentinel lymph node biopsy in patients with cancers and subjected to surgery. The diagnostic performance and the tolerance of indocyanine green (ICG) to the radio-isotope (Techniciun99) in the detection of sentinel lymph nodes will be assess using an "Optonuclear" probe (EURORAD S.A.) and QUEST camera

NCT ID: NCT02552121 Completed - Bladder Cancer Clinical Trials

Tisotumab Vedotin (HuMax®-TF-ADC) Safety Study in Patients With Solid Tumors

Start date: November 30, 2015
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of the trial is to establish the tolerability of tisotumab vedotin (HuMax-TF-ADC) dosed three times every four weeks (3q4wk) in a mixed population of patients with specified solid tumors.

NCT ID: NCT02221076 Completed - Ovarian Cancer Clinical Trials

Probe-based and Needle-based Confocal Laser Endomicroscopy During Gynaecological Procedures.

Start date: July 2014
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The protocol aims at demonstrating the technical feasibility and safety of doing endomicroscopic imaging (both probe-based confocal laser endomicroscopy (pCLE) and needle-based confocal laser endomicroscopy, nCLE) during colposcopy, hysteroscopy, and surgical procedures (open surgery and laparoscopic robot assisted or not) to examine all pelvic tissues including cervix, uterus, adnexia, peritoneum, normal and pathologic aspect.

NCT ID: NCT02001623 Completed - Bladder Cancer Clinical Trials

Tisotumab Vedotin (HuMax®-TF-ADC) Safety Study in Patients With Solid Tumors

Start date: November 30, 2013
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of the trial is to establish the tolerability of HuMax-TF-ADC in a mixed population of patients with specified solid tumors.

NCT ID: NCT01977274 Recruiting - Ovarian Cancer Clinical Trials

Predictive Clinical and Biological Parameters in Gynecological Cancer

GC-BIO
Start date: December 2013
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Research of predictive clinical and biological factors in breast cancer : genomic, proteomic, mutation

NCT ID: NCT01466777 Active, not recruiting - Endometrium Cancer Clinical Trials

Endometrial Cancer and Robotic-assisted Versus Traditional Laparoscopy

Start date: November 2010
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this study is to compare the robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery to the traditional laparoscopic surgery in endometrial cancer patients. The study is prospective and the patients are randomised into two groups of 50 patients each. Randomisation is done with Minim-programme and patients age and Body mass index are taken into account. The primary endpoint is the operation time. The number of patients in this study is based on the non-inferiority design. Presumption is that the operation time in robotic-assisted laparoscopy will be 25% longer. Secondary endpoints include: 1. bleeding 2. complications 3. conversions 4. number of pelvic lymph nodes

NCT ID: NCT01185626 Completed - Ovarian Cancer Clinical Trials

ROGYcare: The Impact of a Cancer Survivorship Care Plan on Patient Reported Outcomes and Health Care Providers

ROGYcare
Start date: April 2011
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Earlier diagnoses and improved treatments have contributed to the growing cohort of cancer survivors. Nevertheless, these patients remain at risk for adverse long-term or late physical or psychosocial effects of cancer and its treatment. There is increasing recognition to improve information disclosure and cancer survivorship care. The American Institute of Medicine (IOM) and Health Council of the Netherlands both recommend that cancer survivors receive a summary of their course of treatment as a formal document, that also includes recommendations for subsequent cancer surveillance, management of late effects, and strategies for health promotion, the Survivorship Care Plan (SCP). However, no evidence exists concerning the positive and negative effects of the implementation of the SCP in daily clinical practice. The purpose of this study is to assess the impact of SCP care in routine clinical practice on cancer survivors' satisfaction with information disclosure and care, quality of life, illness perception, and health care use.

NCT ID: NCT01068483 Completed - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Safety of BKM120 Monotherapy in Advanced Solid Tumor Patients

Start date: November 2008
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This is a first-in-man, phase I clinical research study with BKM120, a potent and highly specific oral pan-class I phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase (PI3K) inhibitor. The study consists of a dose escalation part followed by a MTD expansion part. Once the MTD has been defined, the MTD expansion part will be opened for enrollment.

NCT ID: NCT00377520 Completed - Neoplasms Clinical Trials

A Trial for Patients With Advanced/Recurrent Endometrial Cancer

Start date: September 2006
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The intent of this protocol is to screen a new agent for activity in patients with advanced or recurrent endometrial carcinoma. This phase II trial is studying how well pemetrexed disodium works in treating patients with advanced or recurrent endometrial carcinoma.
