NCT ID: NCT04603599 Completed - Endometrium Cancer Clinical Trials

Relationship of Endometrial Cancer and Serum Soluble L1CAM Level

Start date: January 1, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of serum soluble L1CAM (sL1CAM) on the diagnosis and prognosis of endometrial cancer. This prospective randomized controlled trial will be conducted in patients who have undergone endometrial biopsy and whose pathology results are reported as benign endometrial changes, endometrial hyperplasia, or endometrial cancer. The sL1CAM level between groups will be compared. The relationship between prognostic factors and serum sL1CAM will be evaluated in patients with endometrial cancer.

NCT ID: NCT04560491 Completed - Endometrial Cancer Clinical Trials

Intraoperative Examination of Sentinel Node in Endometrial Cancer (TRSGO-SLN-003)

TRSGOSLN003
Start date: February 1, 2016
Phase:
Study type: Observational

More than half of the cases with macrometastatic sentinel lymph node (SLN) have non-SLN metastasis and leaving these nodes in-situ may impair the survival. This study assessed the diagnostic accuracy of intraoperative SLN frozen section examination and scrape cytology as a possible solution for management of SLN positive patients. Clinical early stage endometrial cancer patients who underwent SLN algorithm and intraoperative frozen section or scrape cytology to evaluate SLN status for metastasis were analyzed retrospectively. Intraoperative examination findings were compared with final pathology results and diagnostic accuracy of frozen section and scrape cytology were evaluated.

NCT ID: NCT04534309 Completed - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Behavioral Weight Loss for Overweight and Obese Cancer Survivors in Maryland: A Demonstration Project

NCT ID: NCT04513665 Completed - Endometrial Cancer Clinical Trials

ZW25 in Women With Endometrial Cancers

Start date: August 12, 2020
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study is being done to test the drug ZW25 and look at whether this drug is effective in women with HER2-overexpressed endometrial cancer or carcinosarcoma that has been treated in the past.

NCT ID: NCT04474184 Completed - Clinical trials for Endometrial Carcinoma

Development of a New Early Detection Test to Reduce Racial Disparities in Endometrial Cancer (EC) Death Rates

Start date: February 1, 2020
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This phase I trial investigates the development of a new early detection test to reduce racial disparities in endometrial cancer death rates. DNA samples collected from a tampon may be able to be used to detect endometrial cancer. Studying information from focus groups and vaginal samples of African American and white women may help researchers develop a less invasive and painful test to detect endometrial cancer. The purpose of this trial is to perform a demonstration project of tampon self-collection, assess percentage of samples returned; total and endometrial derived DNA quantity and quality, preliminarily test previously validated DNA methylation markers that may discriminate endometrial cancer from normal endometrium in tampon specimens.

NCT ID: NCT04456972 Completed - Endometrial Cancer Clinical Trials

Reliability and Interest of Circulating Tumor DNA in Endometrial Cancers.

Start date: June 19, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The recent histo-prognostic molecular discoveries of the TCGA (The Cancer Genome Atlas) have shed new light on the classification of endometrial carcinomas. After carrying out different types of high-throughput molecular analyzes on 373 endometrial carcinomas of different histological types, 4 major tumor subtypes could be identified, each with a different survival profile (the "ultra-mutated" group with POLE mutations, the "hypermuted" group with microsatellite instability (MSI), the "low number of copies" group, and the "high number of copies" group). This histomolecular classification is not yet directly transposable to clinical practice and tumor genetic characteristics have not had any direct therapeutic impact to date. The main objective of the study is to determine the concordance rate between molecular analysis of tumor tissue and that of cDNA in patients with endometrial cancer during treatment.

NCT ID: NCT04452266 Completed - Lynch Syndrome Clinical Trials

Predictive Factor Study of the Occurrence of Endometrial Cancer in Patients With Lynch Syndrome

PrediLynch
Start date: August 14, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Lynch Syndrome increases Endometrial Cancer Occurrence in women due to failure in MisMatch Repair System. Lifetime Cumulative risk of developing endometrial Cancer is approximatively 40% in women with Lynch Syndrome. Endometrial cancer is the third women cancer in France. Many risk factors are known in general population. Lots of factors are related to over exposure to estrogen. Data about influence of general risk factors in Women with Lynch Syndrome are poor. Recently, a cohort study appears to have shown a significant decrease in the risk of endometrial cancer with multiparity, the use of hormonal contraception and late menopause in Lynch women. The impact of weight and certain metabolic parameters on the occurrence of endometrial cancers remains poorly known to this day.

NCT ID: NCT04412902 Completed - Clinical trials for High-risk Endometrial Cancer

Predictors of Recurrence for High Risk Endometrial Cancer Patients

Start date: April 25, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study will analyze whether there is any difference in recurrence and survival rates among the patients who received different adjuvant therapies.

NCT ID: NCT04334239 Completed - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

WiZen
Start date: May 1, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Assessment of the effectiveness of care in certified cancer centres for eight cancer entities via a retrospective cohort study based on secondary data from statutory health insurance funds and population-based clinical cancer registries.

NCT ID: NCT04318340 Completed - Quality of Life Clinical Trials

A Novel Tapered Applicator for Vaginal Vault Brachytherapy

Start date: July 16, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study will assess the comfort and fit of a novel applicator for endometrial cancer patients who are candidates for vaginal brachytherapy. This study is only assessing the applicator fitting. No patients in this study will be treated with the novel applicator.
