This project will evaluate muscle strength and its relationship to everyday function in individuals with Down Syndrome.

Eligibility Inclusion Criteria:

- Down Syndrome

- Mild or moderate mental retardation

- Able to tolerate exercise testing

Exclusion Criteria:

- Uncontrolled cardiovascular disease

- orthopedic limitations to exercise
