Filter by:This phase I trial collects blood samples to investigate the prevalence of changes in genes (genetic mutations) in solid tumor patient populations seeking care at Mayo Clinic Embedded Cancer Center at St. Vincent's Riverside. This may help doctors better understand and/or treat others who have genetic mutations.
The aim of this study is to investigate the diagnostic accuracy of the C Protein Reactive (CRP) for the detection of Anastomotic leakage after surgery for digestive cancer. The standard protocol in our unit is to measure the CRP on the second and fourth postoperative day. The main aim of the study is to investigate the diagnostic accuracy of the ratio CRP on the fourth postoperative day on CRP on the second postoperative day (CRP_D4/CRP_D2). Secondary outcomes are the diagnosis accuracy of the CRP_D4 and CRP_D2.
IMPROVE-IT2 is a randomized multicenter trial comparing the outcomes of ctDNA guided post-operative surveillance and standard-of-care CT-scan surveillance. The hypothesis of this study is that ctDNA guided post-operative surveillance combining ctDNA and radiological assessments could result in earlier detection of recurrent disease and identify more patients eligible for curative treatment.
Creation of a collection of blood samples that will be collected before and then under treatment in patients with digestive adenocarcinoma during the 1st and 2nd metastatic line and which, depending on scientific progress, can be used for research projects aimed at developing tailored patient management strategies.
This study will include two parts: - In the phase I part: safety will be assessed in consecutive cohorts of 3 to 6 patients at increasing doses of TG6002 in combination with oral flucytosine (5-FC) in patients with advanced gastro-intestinal (GI) tumors. - In the phase IIa part: evaluation of efficacy and further evaluation of safety of multiple administrations of TG6002 in combination with flucytosine (5-FC) in patients with colorectal cancer and liver metastases. In both parts, tumor response will be evaluated on local assessment using RECIST 1.1. All patients will be followed up until disease progression or death due to any cause or the date of data cut-off, whichever occurs first.
The research product, registered as a nutritional supplement (Ocoxin®, oral solution), manufactured by Laboratorios Catalysis S. L., comes in the form of single-dose vials of 30 ml. It will be used at a rate of 60 ml daily (1 vial every 12 hours). Our main objective is To evaluate the effect of Ocoxin®-Viusid® on the quality of life of patients with metastatic colorectal adenocarcinoma. Our hypothesis is that the administration of the nutritional supplement Ocoxin®-Viusid® it is expected to improve the quality of life and enhance tolerance to chemotherapy in at least 70% of patients.
Our main objective is to evaluate the effect of Ocoxin-Viusid on the quality of life of patients with advanced stomach cancer and esophagogastric junction. The Ocoxin-Viusid nutritional supplement is expected to improve quality of life and tolerance to treatment with Chemotherapy.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the clinical activity of gemcitabine, nab-paclitaxel, capecitabine, cisplatin, and irinotecan (GAX-CI) in patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer.
This is a Phase 1/2, open-label, first-in-human (FIH) study designed to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PD), and preliminary antineoplastic activity of pralsetinib (BLU-667) administered orally in participants with medullary thyroid cancer (MTC), RET-altered NSCLC and other RET-altered solid tumors.
Tenatumomab is a Sigma-Tau developed new anti-Tenascin antibody. It is a murine monoclonal antibody directed towards Tenascin-C. By means of this antibody, Tenascin-C expression was studied on a commercial tissue array slides each carrying malignant breast, colorectal, lung, ovarian or B and T cell Non-Hodgkin Limphoma tissue sections. All these cancers type showed positivity to Tenascin-C between the 64% and 13.3%. Consequently, Sigma-tau is exploring the use of the 131I-labeled Tenatumomab for anti-cancer radioimmunotherapy.
