Prosthetic Outcomes and Clinical Performance of Implant Supported Zirconia Crowns

Start date: February 2025
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

To compare biological, technical, radiographic, and patient-reported outcomes of two types of monolithic zirconia crowns screw-retained to implant. To assess whether the new form of multilayered zirconia crowns will show similar survival and success rate to conventional monolithic Zirconia screw-retained to implants in molar and premolar regions. First Null Hypothesis: Multilayered monolithic zirconia crowns would have similar survival, success rate compared to conventional monolithic zirconia implant supported crowns. Second Null hypothesis: There would be no difference in clinical and patients related outcomes between multilayered and conventional monolithic zirconia implant supported crowns.

Subepithelial Connective Tissue Graft Versus Amniotic Chorion Membrane for Peri-implant Mucosal Thickness Enhancement

Start date: March 1, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The objective of this study will be to assess the efficacy of the peri-implant mucosal thickness enhancement following either subepithelial connective tissue grafts or Amnion Chorion Membrane placed simultaneously with dental implant placement.

NCT ID: NCT06286605 Not yet recruiting - Dental Implant Clinical Trials

RCT GBR One Stages Comparing A-Oss and Autogenous Bone Versus A-Oss and LCR-A

Start date: March 1, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this randomized controlled trial is to evaluate the tridimensional bone stability after horizontal one-stage GBR using collagene membrane (OssMem) with a mix of Bovine Bone Substitute (A-Oss) and autogenous bone (test group) versus A-Oss and LCR-A, a synthetic bone (control group).

NCT ID: NCT06286579 Not yet recruiting - Dental Implant Clinical Trials

SOI Immediately vs Delayed

Start date: March 1, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this randomized controlled trial is to compare the clinical and radiographic of immediately loaded, immediate (post-extractive, test group) versus delayed (control group) implants with new SOI surface

NCT ID: NCT06286566 Not yet recruiting - Dental Implant Clinical Trials

Soi TS3 Surface in Patients With and Without Type 2 Diabetes

Start date: March 1, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this prospective cohort study is to compare clinical and radiographic data of Osstem implants with SOI surface placed in patients with or without diabetes.

NCT ID: NCT06281535 Not yet recruiting - Dental Implant Clinical Trials

Early Versus Conventional Loading for Fully Guided Immediate Implant Placement

Start date: February 20, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Conventional loading protocol following implant placement 3 -6 months is considered the gold standard. However, early loading following 2 months after implant placement decreases the time and had a good survival rate.

NCT ID: NCT06276712 Not yet recruiting - Dental Implant Clinical Trials

RCT Comparing KS Versus TS for Ovedenture

Start date: March 1, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

To evaluate the clinical and radiographic outcomes of KS implants used to rehabilitate edentulous mandible with dental-retained overdentures, and to compare it with same treatment on TS implants

NCT ID: NCT06276335 Not yet recruiting - Dental Implant Clinical Trials

Influence of Timing of Implant Placement on Early Healing Molecular Events

Start date: May 1, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Dental implants have been on the market for several years and they are routinely used to replace single/multiple missing teeth with a high success rate. However, there is still a limited number of studies comparing the influence of timing of implant placement on wound healing. In addition, there is no data available on the signaling pathways and the expression of healing biomarkers involved in the early stages of osseointegration after immediate implant placement (IP) or delayed implant placement (DP). The primary objective of this study is to describe changes in the expression of inflammatory, angiogenesis and osseous biomarkers of saliva at 1, 3, 7, 15 and 30 days and of PICF at 3, 7, 15 and 30 days after immediate implant placement (IP) compared with delayed placement (DP).

The Accuracy of Static Navigation Systems and Robotic System in Partially Edentulous in Posterior Area

Start date: December 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this randomized clinical trial to compare the implant positional accuracy of robotic system-assisted implant surgery with that of static system-assisted implant surgery. Patients will be recruited and randomly assigned to either the robotic surgery group or the static navigation surgery group to evaluate the accuracy of the implants in both groups and to compare patient-reported and physician-reported outcomes of the two approaches.

Investigating Implant Surface Effect on Osseointegration: NGA vs. ModSLA

Start date: January 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study aims to characterise the stability of crestal bone levels one year after loading, the associated aesthetic outcomes, immunological response, prosthodontic outcomes as well as overall patient reported outcome measures for modSLA (SLActive, Institut Straumann AG, Switzerland) and NGA (TiUltraNP, Nobel Biocare AG, Switzerland) dental implants.
