There are about 8563 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Sweden. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
We will evaluate a transdiagnostic digital emotion regulation treatment for youth with mental health problems.
Study CKJX839B12302 is a pivotal Phase III trial to evaluate the benefits of inclisiran on major adverse cardiovascular (MACE) events in participants with established cardiovascular disease (CVD).
The specific study aim is to determine whether a 12-week digitally delivered behavior change intervention for patients with peripheral artery disease increases walking ability, reduces smoking, improves quality of life and improves medication adherence. The primary and secondary endpoints will primarily be captured at a 12 weeks follow-up visit, but a follow-up visit after 12 months is also planned; to assess longer term effect on outcomes and healthcare cost.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the user experience of InPen™ with InPen™ Diabetes Management App and Guardian 4 system in adult patients with type 1 diabetes for the design of a future pivotal study.
This is an observational cohort study with retrospective analysis of prospectively collected data. The study cohort is constituted of all patients with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) treated with autologous stem cell transplantation (AHSCT) in Sweden from 2004 when the first AHSCT was performed until 31 December 2019. The study aims to describe the effectiveness, safety and patient reported outcomes of AHSCT for MS through real world data. Treatment related mortality will be analyzed from start of mobilization until the end of the study. For other adverse events the data collection will end 3 months post-transplantation. A statistical subgroup comparison of efficacy and safety between the conditioning regimens BEAM-ATG and Cy-ATG will be included within the study.
AURORAX-0093A (AUR93A) is a pilot cohort observational study that will explore the use of urine and plasma glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) to prognosticate muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC) patients elected for neo-adjuvant chemotherapy (NAC).
Migraine is a neurological disease characterized by moderate or severe headache, associated with nausea, vomiting, and/or sensitivity to light and sound (ICHD 2018). Migraine can be further categorized according to the frequency of attacks as episodic migraine (EM) or chronic migraine (CM). This study will assess the effects of BOTOX in preventing migraine in adult participants with EM. BOTOX is being developed for the prevention of migraine in adults with episodic migraine (EM). Participants will be enrolled in 3 different treatment groups. There is 1 in 3 chance that participants will be assigned to receive placebo. Approximately 777 adult participants with EM will be enrolled in approximately 125 sites across the world. Participants will receive intramuscular injections (injected into the muscle) of BOTOX or Placebo on Week 0 and Week 12. Eligible participants will receive BOTOX on Week 24 and Week 36. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic. The effect of the treatment will be checked by medical assessments, blood tests, checking for side effects and completing questionnaires.
Informal caregivers to patients with head and neck cancer report that they are unprepared for caregiving, that they experience a high caregiver burden and a deteriorated health. The aim is to develop an internet based intervention for informal caregivers of individuals with head and neck cancer and evaluate the feasibility and acceptability of the intervention. The internet based intervention (Carer eSupport) will be based on scientific evidence, established theoretical frameworks and focus groups with caregivers and health care professionals. The feasibility and acceptability of Carer eSupport will be evaluated by 30 caregivers who will have access to Carer eSupport during one months. The feasibility and acceptability of Carer eSupport will be evaluated with quantitative and qualitative data.

The main objective of this study is to further evaluate the safety and efficacy of palovarotene in adult and paediatric participants with FOP. The aim of the study is also to ensure treatment continuity to participants who have completed one of the parent studies (Study PVO-1A-301, Study PVO-1A-202 and Study PVO-1A-204) and who, in the investigator's judgement, may benefit from palovarotene therapy.
