The study seeks to investigate the effects of a guided internet-based cognitive behavioral therapy (ICBT) programme on adult mental health problems related to the climate crisis. ICBT will be compared to a wait-list control group. Participants will be recruited in Sweden with a nationwide recruitment.

Participation could last up to 5 years, depending on how you and your tumor respond.
Total hip replacement is the most successful treatment modern healthcare can offer patients to regain quality of life. Periprosthetic joint infection (PJI) is the most common and devastating complication after total hip replacement (THR). Between 0.5 to 2% of primary THR (first time hip replacement), and 8-10% of revision THR (replacement of a hip prosthesis) will become infected.1 The introduction of local antibiotics blended into bone cement has led to a reduction in postoperative infection in primary THR by half.2 Unfortunately, cement can't always be used in relevant quantities. The number of primary and revision surgeries of the hip is projected to increase dramatically. Therefore, the need for a feasible infection prophylaxis that is applicable for complex primary and revision THR in addition to antibiotics loaded cement is urgent. Impacted morselized bone allograft is often used in (revision) THR to fill bone defects. Morselized allograft has been used as a carrier for local antibiotic treatment in multiple pilot studies and appears to be an attractive and effective treatment option, both for already infected joints and as a prophylactic measure in high-risk patients (e.g. THR revision surgeries). Nonetheless, a pivotal trial to support its use in THR is lacking. The aim of this pragmatic randomized controlled double blinded drug trial is to investigate whether antibiotic impregnated bone graft (AIBG) decreases the risk of infection after hip arthroplasty compared to controls treated with placebo impregnated bone graft. Patients scheduled for elective THR will be randomized to receive AIBG or a placebo impregnated bone graft. The primary outcome variable will be the number of re-operations due to infections and PJI diagnoses 2 years postoperative.
Imaginal exposure is a widely used and effective psychological treatment technique in which patients are exposed to fearful stimuli and situations using mental imagery. This study examines imaginal extinction, an experimental analogue of imaginal exposure that allows the study of this treatment technique under controlled circumstances. During imaginal extinction, conditioned fear is diminished through repeated exposure to mental imagery of the feared (conditioned) stimulus. The neural underpinnings of imaginal extinction is not known, and hence, this study examines neural activations during imaginal extinction using psychophysiology and brain imaging.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and preliminary clinical activity of CC-95251 alone and in combination with antineoplastic agents in participants with relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia and relapsed or refractory and treatment-naive higher risk melodysplastic syndromes.
The purpose of this Phase III study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of tozorakimab Dose 1 and Dose 2 administered subcutaneously (SC) in adult participants with symptomatic COPD and history of ≥ 2 moderate or ≥ 1 severe exacerbation of COPD in the previous 12 months. Participants should be receiving optimised treatment with maintenance inhaled therapy (ICS/LABA/LAMA triple therapy, or dual therapy if triple is not considered appropriate) in stable doses throughout at least 3 months prior to enrolment.
There is an on-going discussion weather remote ischemic conditioning (RIC) is effective in limiting the damage of reperfusion injury in STEMI patients. The results from recent RCTs have been variable and most have not shown convincing positive results when analyzing hard endpoints. Hence, there is a great need to evaluate the impact of comorbidities on the effectiveness of RIC. Therefore, we have designed a study to evaluate the impact of hypercholesterolemia on the RIC response by evaluating ischemia-induced endothelial dysfunction. Aim: To investigate the impact of hypercholesterolemia on the RIC response in counteracting ischemia-induced endothelial dysfunction.
Rational for conducting the study: Periprosthetic joint infection (PJI) is the most feared complication following prosthetic replacement of the hip joint and is associated with increased mortality, morbidity and economic burden. The aim of the trial is to investigate whether the risk of periprosthetic joint infection after treatment with hemiarthroplasty performed due to femoral neck fracture is reduced after the use of dual-impregnated antibiotic loaded cement. The primary outcome variable is the incidence of periprosthetic joint infection within one year after the index procedure. Secondary outcome variables include the occurrence of re-operations for any reason, bacteriology, antibiotic treatment, mortality and health care costs.
