NCT ID: NCT04235062 Completed - Heart Failure Clinical Trials

NATriuretic Response to Expansion and dIUretics in huMans With Heart Failure

NATRIUM-HF
Start date: April 1, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

NATRIUM-HF is a multicenter, non-randomized, pre-post intervention study designed to assess renal response to intravascular fluid expansion and diuretics after sacubitril/valsartan (Entresto®) in euvolemic heart failure patients with reduced ejection fraction. Approximately 230 eligible patients will attend one visit prior to and visits 2 and 3 months after starting Entresto®. At each visit, the patient's responses to extravascular fluid expansion with Ringer's solution and to a loop diuretic bolus will be measured. Biomarkers measured in blood and urine samples will include natriuretic peptides (NP) B-type NP (BNP) and N-terminal proBNP (NT-proBNP), NP fragments, neprilysin activity and concentration, and other biomarkers related to heart failure.

NCT ID: NCT04233216 Completed - HIV-1 Infection Clinical Trials

Doravirine/Islatravir (DOR/ISL) in Heavily Treatment-Experienced (HTE) Participants for Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1 (HIV-1) Infection (MK-8591A-019)

Start date: March 18, 2020
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a 2-part, phase 3 clinical study evaluating the antiretroviral activity and safety/tolerability of islatravir (ISL), doravirine (DOR), and a fixed dose combination (FDC) of DOR/ISL (also known as MK-8591A) in heavily treatment-experienced (HTE) participants with human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) infection. It is hypothesized that the percentage of participants receiving DOR/ISL to achieve ≥0.5 log10 decrease in HIV-1 ribonucleic acid (RNA) from study baseline (Day 1) to Day 8 is superior to placebo, each given in combination with failing antiretroviral therapy (ART).

NCT ID: NCT04230213 Completed - Clinical trials for Rheumatoid Arthritis

A Comparative Study Between PF-06410293 and Humira® in Combination With Methotrexate in Participants With Active Rheumatoid Arthritis

Start date: January 13, 2020
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The study will assess the impact of pharmacokinetics (PK), safety and immunogenicity after switches between PF-06410293 and adalimumab and with continuous dosing with adalimumab in combination with methotrexate in subjects with moderately to severely active rheumatoid arthritis.

NCT ID: NCT04227366 Completed - Clinical trials for Rheumatoid Arthritis

Study of the Efficacy and Safety of BCD-089 in Combination With Methotrexate in Patients With Active Rheumatoid Arthritis

SOLAR
Start date: November 19, 2019
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

BCD-089 is the original therapeutic monoclonal antibody binding the alpha subunit of the IL-6 receptor. The aim of the study is to demonstrate the efficacy and safety of BCD-089 in combination with methotrexate in patients with active rheumatoid arthritis resistant to monotherapy with methotrexate.

NCT ID: NCT04224545 Completed - Clinical trials for Atrial Fibrillation New Onset

COlchicine in Cardiac Surgery

COCS
Start date: December 23, 2019
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

Postoperative atrial fibrillation (POAF) is a major complication of cardiac surgery, which could lead to high morbidity and mortality, increase duration of hospital stay and increase the cost of treatment. Colchicine possesses both anti-inflammatory and sympatholytic properties, so it has been studied to prevent POAF. The ACC/AHA guidelines for colchicine contain a class IIB recommendation, but the ESC guidelines do not recommend this drug. More researches are needed to focus on reducing of side effects by optimizing the colchicine regimen to reduce the incidence of gastrointestinal side effects. It is believed that further research is needed to investigate the efficacy and safety of colchicine in these conditions. This research is aimed to study the effectiveness of short-term administration of the drug.

NCT ID: NCT04222517 Completed - Hernia, Ventral Clinical Trials

The Use of Local Hemostatic in Patients With Large Incisional Hernias

Start date: September 10, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Design of a simple blind randomized controlled trial study. Large incisional hernia repair with use of local hemostatic Hemoblock

NCT ID: NCT04218877 Completed - Atopic Dermatitis Clinical Trials

The Factors Affecting Atopic Dermatitis in Children Age 1-3

Start date: March 10, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study evaluates the influence of different triggers on atopic dermatitis manifestation in children under 3 years old.

NCT ID: NCT04218851 Completed - Clinical trials for Invasive Aspergillosis

Posaconazole (MK-5592) Intravenous and Oral in Children With Invasive Aspergillosis (IA) (MK-5592-104)

Start date: July 2, 2020
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study will evaluate the safety, efficacy, and pharmacokinetics of posaconazole (POS) intravenous (IV) and oral formulations in pediatric participants 2 to <18 years of age with invasive aspergillosis (IA).

NCT ID: NCT04215081 Completed - Clinical trials for Spinal Cord Injuries

ExoAtlet II For SCI Patients

EXOATLET2SCI
Start date: November 18, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study will evaluate the ExoAtlet II exoskeleton for safety and effectiveness of providing persons with a spinal cord injury (SCI) who are non-ambulatory or have limited ambulatory function, to stand up and ambulate under a variety of conditions.

NCT ID: NCT04211584 Completed - Artery; Thrombosis Clinical Trials

The TENDERA Multicenter Clinical Trial

TDR
Start date: December 18, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

TENDERA is a multicenter randomized controlled trial to compare traditional entry point in the radial artery for TRI and distal puncture at the anatomical snuffbox area for transradial Interventions. The Investigators hypothesized that novel entry point in radial artery may lessen vascular access site complication rate and especially the radial artery late occlusion rate.
