There are about 9702 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Poland. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This is open-label, multicenter, international study, assessing the efficacy and safety of Trastuzumab deruxtecan (T-DXd) in participants with or without brain metastasis (BMs), with previously-treated advanced/metastatic HER2-positive breast cancer whose disease has progressed on prior anti-HER2-based regimens and who received no more than 2 lines/regimens of therapy in the metastatic setting (excluding tucatinib).
Allergic diseases are currently one of the most important problem in medicine. Research confirms that probiotics administered during the formation of the intestinal ecosystem and the maturation of the immune system can positively influence the development of antiallergic mechanisms. The aim of the present randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled study was to evaluate the efficacy of the mixture of probiotic Lactobacillus rhamnosus ŁOCK 0900, Lactobacillus rhamnosus ŁOCK 0908, and Lactobacillus casei ŁOCK 0919 in children up to the age 2 with atopic dermatitis and food allergy to cow's milk proteins. Children received the mixture of Lactobacillus strains for 3 months every day in the daily dose of a billion bacteria or a placebo (maltodextrin). Primary outcomes included the effects of probiotic treatment on the severity of symptoms assessed with SCORing atopic dermatitis (SCORAD) index. Secondary endpoints included assessment of total IgE and selected cytokine levels. Cytokines were evaluated in supernatants obtained from peripheral blood cultures of randomly selected 20 patients from each group. The primary and secondary outcomes were assessed at 3 time points: at baseline, after the finishing the administration of probiotic/placebo, and after 9 months of follow up.
This study is designed as an international, open-label, controlled two-arm, randomized phase III comparison study evaluating the efficacy and safety of trifluridine/tipiracil in combination with bevacizumab versus trifluridine/tipiracil monotherapy in patients with refractory mCRC.
This study is open to adults who have kidney disease that is not caused by diabetes. The purpose of the study is to find out whether a medicine called avenciguat (BI 685509) improves kidney function. Three different doses of avenciguat are tested in this study. Participants get either one of the three doses of avenciguat or placebo. It is decided by chance who gets which avenciguat dose and who gets placebo. Participants take avenciguat or placebo as tablets 3 times a day. Placebo tablets look like avenciguat tablets but do not contain any medicine. Participants continue taking their usual medicine for kidney disease throughout the study. Participants are in the study for about 7 months. During this time, they visit the study site about 11 times. Where possible, about 6 of the 11 visits can be done at the participant's home instead of the study site. The trial staff may also contact the participants by phone or video call. Kidney function is assessed based on the analysis of urine samples, which participants collect at home. At the end of the trial the results are compared between the different doses of avenciguat and placebo. During the study, the doctors also regularly check the general health of the participants.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the Pharmacodynamics (PD), Pharmacokinetics (PK), safety, tolerability, immunogenicity, and clinical efficacy of efgartigimod coformulated with recombinant human hyaluronidase PH20 (rHuPH20) as compared to efgartigimod IV infused in patients with generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG). The study duration is approximately 12 weeks. After screening, patients will be randomized to receive either efgartigimod infusions or efgartigimod PH20 subcutaneously (SC)

The secondary aims of the study are as follows: - assess the differences in attitudes towards traditional vs. gestational surrogacy among Polish population, - assess the cognitive concerns about issues related to surrogacy, - assess the acceptance of surrogate parenthood, - assess the attitude towards the surrogate mother, - identify factors that influence the attitudes towards surrogacy, - examine if there are differences in attitudes among members of the general public, health care professionals, students (health/medical studies vs. non-medical studies) and people with infertility diagnosis.
It is Randomized Controlled Trial, in which investigators will estimate the impact of the use of immunonutrition support compared to standard nutritional support in the preoperative period in patients with colorectal cancer.
The purpose of this study is to demonstrate similar efficacy and safety between TVB-009 and Prolia® (denosumab)
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and maximum tolerated dose (MTD)/maximum tolerated combination dose (MTCD) or recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D) of AMG 994 as monotherapy and AMG 994 in combination with AMG 404 in participants with advanced solid tumors.
