There are about 9702 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Poland. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Phase IIb study to evaluate the efficacy and the safety of 3 dose-levels of ABX464, administered daily in patients with moderate to severe Ulcerative Colitis.
Continuous surveillance in 2003-2017 allowed to detect HAIs in patients staying in a 42-bed neurosurgery unit with 6 intensive neurosurgical supervision beds. 10,332 surgical patients were qualified for the study. The study was carried out in the framework of a national surveillance of HAI programme following methodology recommended by Healthcare-Associated Infections Surveillance Network (HAI-Net), European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control. Intervention in this before-after study (2003-2017) comprised standardised surveillance of HAI with regular analysis and feedback.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of treatment with omecamtiv mecarbil compared with placebo on exercise capacity as determined by cardiopulmonary exercise testing following 20 weeks of treatment with omecamtiv mecarbil or placebo
The primary objective of this study is to confirm the efficacy of a single oral 900 mg dose of nolasiban versus placebo to increase the ongoing clinical pregnancy rate at 10 weeks post-embryo transfer (ET) day.
The primary aim of the study is to assess the effect of methotrexate on the development of distal interphalangeal joint extensor tendon enthesopathy.

This is a study investigating the effect of MEDI7352 on chronic pain in patients with painful diabetic neuropathy. The study incudes a screening period of up to 45 days and a 12-week treatment period during which MEDI7352 or placebo will be administered intravenously (IV) on 6 occasions, with each dose separated by 14 days. There will be a 6-week follow-up period. Subjects will randomly be assigned to double-blind treatment with one of 4 dose levels of MEDI7352 or placebo
In this trial the effects of the inhaled drug BAY1237592 will be studied in patients with high blood pressure in the pulmonary blood vessels due to Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) and due to Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension (CTEPH). Pulmonary hypertension is characterized by the elevation of pressure in the pulmonary arteries (PAP) and of the pulmonary vascular resistance (PVR) leading to increased workload of the right chamber of the heart to eject blood against this elevated resistance. The goal of this study is to measure the safety and tolerability of the drug as well as the reduction of the PVR at different doses In Part A patients without specific treatment for PH (untreated patients) will be tested. In Part B also patients stably pre-treated with specific PH drugs will be studied in combination with the new inhaled drug
The purpose of this research study is to investigate if KY1005 results in improvement of eczema when given to participants with moderate to severe disease. Side effects of KY1005 will also be explored.
The prevention of lymphoceles was assessed using collagen patch coated with the human coagulation factors (TachoSil, Nycomed International Management GmbH, Zurich, Switzerland; NCT Number ICMJE NCT01192022; Other Study ID Numbers ICMJE TC-2402-040-SP; U1111-1130-9121 Registry Identifier: WHO) on 50 consecutive patients with endometrial and cervical cancer stages IB to II who had undergone open hysterectomy and pelvic lymphadenectomy (PL). Methods: Each patient was simultaneously randomized in two groups: as a control (side without Tachosil applied) and study group (side with Tachosil applied). All surgical parameters were collected and patients underwent ultrasound examination on postoperative days 1, 6, and 30, and at the end of treatment.
