This is a randomized, Phase III, multicenter, open-label study designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of atezolizumab in combination with cisplatin or carboplatin + pemetrexed compared with treatment with cisplatin or carboplatin + pemetrexed in participants who are chemotherapy-naive and have Stage IV non-squamous NSCLC. Eligible participants will be randomized by a 1:1 ratio into 2 groups: Arm A (Atezolizumab + Carboplatin or Cisplatin + Pemetrexed) and Arm B (Carboplatin or Cisplatin + Pemetrexed). The study will be conducted in two phases: Induction Phase and Maintenance Phase.
This trial is conducted in Asia, Europe and the United States of America (USA). The aim of the trial is to investigate efficacy and safety of semaglutide versus dulaglutide as add-on to metformin in subjects with type 2 diabetes.
The purpose of this study is to assess long-term safety data of GED-0301 for a period of up to 208 weeks in adult subjects (i.e., ≥ 18 years of age) who participated in the core Phase 3 GED-0301-CD-002 and GED-0301-CD-003 studies and adolescent subjects (i.e., 12 to 17 years of age) who participated in the core Phase 3 GED-0301-CD-003 study. Although all subjects will receive active treatment, this study is double-blinded for the entire 208 weeks for the purpose of preserving the blind of the subject's treatment allocation in the initial, core Phase 3 GED-0301 study. The GED-0301-CD-003 trial was not initiated; see detailed description.
The ProArc Medical ClearRing™ system is a prostatic reshaping device that is designed to treat Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (LUTS) due to BPH. During the procedure an implant is delivered into the prostate tissue obstructing the urethra and restricting urine flow. The delivery system uses an electro-cutting blade to perform a circular and superficial incision, in which the implant is placed. Such an implant, with the shape of an open ring, expands the obstructed area, reducing the fluid obstruction through the prostatic urethra.
