There are about 2333 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Ireland. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This is a multi-center, observational genomic screening protocol to identify participants whose tumors harbor somatic mutations in the ERBB2 (HER2) gene, as measured in circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) . Participants with histologically confirmed, hormone receptor positive, HER-2 negative, metastatic breast cancer (MBC) or metastatic cervical cancer (MCC) are eligible for screening at 6 months intervals, or if disease progression is suspected/confirmed. Blood samples will be collected from eligible participants and ctDNA will be extracted and sequenced at a central laboratory, using a HER2-targeted next generation sequencing (NGS) test. A certified molecular test report will be issued from the central laboratory and provided to the investigators and the study sponsor. Participants who are identified with HER2 mutations by this screening protocol will subsequently have access to an appropriate neratinib treatment protocol, pending medical eligibility.
This is a Phase 3, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled multicenter global study designed to compare the efficacy and safety of tislelizumab in combination with concurrent chemoradiotherapy (cCRT) followed by tislelizumab monotherapy versus cCRT alone, and tislelizumab given sequentially after cCRT versus cCRT alone, in newly diagnosed stage III subjects with locally advanced, unresectable non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The primary endpoint is centrally-assessed progression free survival (PFS) in the intent-to-treat (ITT) population. .
Single-arm, open-label observational study in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) patients receiving usual care at an interstitial lung disease specialist center. The objectives are [1] to characterise the longitudinal trends of patient-measured Forced Vital Capacity (FVC) and impact of IPF on daily life Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROM) in a cohort of patients with IPF [2] to determine the correlation (if any) between patient-measured FVC and PROMs with clinic-observed measurements and [3] to assess if longitudinal trends in patient-measured FVC are predictive of clinical health outcomes in IPF. An additional purpose is to assess the acceptability and utility of the patientMpower app in helping IPF patients and their healthcare professional caregivers manage their condition. Patients will record FVC, symptoms (e.g. dyspnea) and activity (step count) daily and PROM once a week on the patientMpower app. The planned observation period is sixteen weeks. No additional clinic visits are required (versus usual care). In-clinic assessments of lung function, dyspnea and PROM will be done at baseline and study end. Patients and healthcare professionals will provide their opinion on utility and acceptability of patientMpower app at study end.
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of the 3 selected dose regimens of padsevonil (PSL) administered concomitantly with up to 3 anti-epileptic drugs (AEDs) compared with placebo for treatment of observable focal-onset seizures in subjects with drug-resistant epilepsy.
This is an exploratory, translational and non-interventional clinical study. The aim of this study is to identify a blood biomarker signature for glioma.
The objective of this clinical study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of intrastromal implantation of the Allotex TransForm corneal allograft (TCA) for improving near vision in presbyopic subjects.
This study will evaluate the long-term safety and tolerability of UTTR1147A in participants with moderate to severe ulcerative colitis (UC) or Crohn's disease (CD), enrolling up to 320 participants from the parent studies: Phase Ib Study GA29469 (NCT02749630) and Phase II Study GA39925 (NCT03558152).
JAVELIN Ovarian PARP 100 (B9991030) is an open-label, randomized study designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of avelumab in combination with chemotherapy followed by maintenance therapy of avelumab in combination with talazoparib versus an active comparator in treatment-naïve patients with locally advanced or metastatic ovarian cancer (Stage III or Stage IV). On March 19, 2019, Sponsors alliance announced the discontinuation of the ongoing Phase III study, and the decision was based on several factors, including previous announced interim results from JAVELIN Ovarian 100 study (B9991010). Patients who remain in B9991030 study will continue receiving their randomized treatment assigned and will be monitored for appropriate safety assessments until treatment discontinuation.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of ontamalimab as maintenance treatment in participants with moderate to severe Crohn's disease (CD).
The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and effectiveness of BMS-986165 compared to placebo in participants with moderately to severely active Crohn's Disease.
