NCT ID: NCT05869721 Recruiting - Mood Clinical Trials

Effects of Yoga on Women With Breast Cancer

Start date: May 4, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Upper limb complications and sleep disturbances are prevalent, persistent, and serious health problems in women with breast cancer. However, these problems are underrecognized in clinical practice and thus have substantial adverse impacts on the health and quality of life of women with breast cancer. As yoga practices have been shown to improve physical and psychological health in people with cancer, such practices may also alleviate upper limb complications and sleep disturbances in women with breast cancer. However, there are few evidence-based guidelines or protocols to support the integration of yoga therapy into clinical practice for managing the health conditions of women with breast cancer. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the effects of yoga therapy on improving the upper limb functions, sleep quality, and quality of life in women with breast cancer.

NCT ID: NCT05867056 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Hepatitis B, Chronic

Study of IMC-I109V in Non-cirrhotic HBeAg-negative Chronic HBV Infection

Start date: August 12, 2020
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

IMC-I109V is an immune-mobilizing monoclonal T cell receptor (TCR) against viruses (ImmTAV®), a new class of bispecific protein therapeutics designed for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection (CHB). This is the first in-human study of IMC-I109V in persons with CHB.

NCT ID: NCT05858307 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome

Clinical Application of Serum Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) Measurements

Start date: June 22, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study aims to assess the association of Anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) with polycystic ovarian syndrome, premature ovarian insufficiency and fertility. The main objectives include the following: 1. To study the level of serum AMH in women with PCOS and to evaluate the utility of serum AMH in the diagnosis of PCOS. 2. To evaluate the level of serum AMH in women with POI and to evaluate the utility of serum AMH in the management of POI. 3. To evaluate the associations of basal AMH level with FSH level and AFC respectively for women undergoing ART treatment. 4. To determine the optimal regimen of gonadotropin for ovarian stimulation for women undergoing ART treatment. 5. To evaluate the predictive value of serum AMH in reproductive outcomes including oocyte quality, embryo quality, pregnancy loss, clinical pregnancy and live birth rate in women undergoing ART treatment.

NCT ID: NCT05851651 Recruiting - Breastfeeding Clinical Trials

Gestational Diabetes and Antenatal Human Milk Expression

Start date: May 10, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Exclusive breastfeeding is global recognized as the optimal infant feeding. Hong Kong is committed to promoting, protecting and supporting the global movement for successful breastfeeding. Exclusive breastfeeding is especially strongly recommended and supported to the maternal history of Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM). This study aims to examine the acceptability and feasibility of Antenatal human milk expression (AME) as breastfeeding intervention to improve breastfeeding for GDM women. The efficacy of AME practice on the breastfeeding exclusivity will also be investigated. It is hypothesized that AME will increase breastfeeding exclusivity compare with women receiving standard care, and will improve the breastfeeding self-efficacy and reduce depressive symptoms of women after birth.

Study of Sacituzumab Govitecan Versus Treatment of Physician's Choice in Patients With Hormone Receptor-positive/Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 Negative (HR+/HER2-) Metastatic Breast Cancer Who Have Received Endocrine Therapy

ASCENT-07
Start date: May 8, 2023
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this clinical study is to see if sacituzumab govitecan-hziy (SG) can improve life spans of people with HR+/HER2- metastatic breast cancer and their tumor does not grow or spread when compared to currently available standard treatments, such as paclitaxel, nab-paclitaxel or capecitabine. The primary objective is to compare the effect of SG relative to the treatment of physician's choice (TPC) on progression-free survival (PFS).
