There are about 4372 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Greece. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This multicenter, post-marketing, observational study will evaluate quality of life in participants with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) under treatment with pirfenidone (Esbriet).
The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy of ruxolitinib against best available therapy in participants with steroid-refractory chronic graft-versus-host disease (SR cGvHD).
The main aim of the study is to investigate and compare the possible acute effect of standard PCNL, mini-PCNL and RIRS on renal function. Secondary aims are to investigate the efficacy (stone-free rate), safety (complication rate, long-term kidney function) and other parameters (operation, fluoroscopy and hospitalization time) concerning the 3 endourological operations (PCNL, mini- PCNL, RIRS) for the treatment of renal calculi.
The primary aim of this exploratory study is to test the safety and tolerability of milciclib when administered orally at 100 mg in patients with recurrent or metastatic Hepatocellular Carcinoma. The evaluation of the efficacy profile is a secondary objective of the study. Moreover, markers expression in tumor cells and plasma will be studied and described in association with the clinical outcome. Eligible patients will receive milciclib orally on a daily schedule for 4 consecutive days a week in a 4-week cycle (4 days on/3 days off x q4 wks) for a total of 12 weeks (i.e. 3 cycles) unless patient refusal, consent withdrawal, Investigator's decision, unacceptable toxicity or death whichever occurs earlier. At the end of Cycle 3, treatment will be stopped, and based on the results of the tumor assessment performed on Day 90 (±3 days) from treatment start, patients will be followed as here below detailed: - patients with Complete Response (CR)/Partial Response (PR)/Stable Disease (SD) will be followed for safety until 30 days from last dose intake (or until a new anticancer therapy starts, whichever occurs earlier) and will be assessed for efficacy in the follow-up period up to Day 180 from treatment start; - patients with progressive disease will be followed only for safety until 30 days from last dose intake (or until a new anticancer therapy starts, whichever occurs earlier). After the completion of three cycles, patients who, in the Investigator's judgment, are benefiting from treatment with milciclib, will resume treatment and will remain on study up to Day 180 from treatment start, unless withdrawal criteria are met earlier.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of risankizumab versus placebo during induction therapy in participants with moderately to severely active Crohn's disease (CD).
The objective of Study M15-991 is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of risankizumab versus placebo during induction therapy in participants with moderately to severely active CD.
This is a non interventional, multicenter clinical trial, in adult patients receiving Tecfidera per approved SmPC and routine clinical practice. The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the total societal costs to the healthcare system related to the use of Tecfidera in RRMS patients. The study will capture data in a simple matter that can be easily interpreted providing an advantage in a country where efforts in the market access arena are in their infancy. For the aforementioned reasons, the proposed study may prove quite valuable in supporting DMF as a cost-effective therapy, valuable not only for patients but for the public health care system as well, providing all the necessary information for the evaluation that need to be examined regarding the positive reimbursement list and future decisions.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of pirfenidone in participants with fibrosing interstitial lung disease (ILD) who cannot be classified with moderate or high confidence into any other category of fibrosing ILD by multidisciplinary team (MDT) review ("unclassifiable" ILD).
The objective of the study is to find the optimal dose of once daily oral neladenoson bialanate (BAY1067197) when given in addition to appropriate therapy for specific comorbidities.
The patients will be allocated to 2 groups: the LMA group and the endotracheal tube (ET) group. Airway management will be done with the LMA Protector for the patients of the LMA group and with the classic endotracheal tube for the patients of the ET group. The main purpose of the study is to determine if the application of the LMA Protector causes less laryngopharyngeal symptoms than the endotracheal tube after minimally invasive thyroidectomy. The secondary purpose is to confirm that the LMA Protector is a safe alternative airway management device for minimally invasive thyroidectomy.
