There are about 25560 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Germany. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This study evaluates the efficacy of hyperosmolar eye drops on early morning edema of the cornea in patients with Fuchs' endothelial corneal dystrophy (FECD). Each participant will receive hyperosmolar eye drops in one eye and lubricating eye drops in the fellow eye.
To obtain prospective real world data of the effect of lumacaftor/ivacaftor or tezacaftor/ ivacaftor on small airway disease in children aged 6-18 years with cystic fibrosis (CF) homozygous for F508del. The effect of the medication on small airway disease is evaluated by measurement of multiple breath washout (MBW) with its outcome parameter lung clearance index (LCI) and the Perth-Rotterdam Annotated Grid Morphometric Analysis for CF (PRAGMA-CF) cpmputed tomography (CT) score. In addition the relation between changes in LCI and PRAGMA-CF score is evaluated.
This is a prospective, multicenter, open-label, single-arm registry. The primary objective of this registry is to confirm the results of the Supraflex Cruz stent in real life all-comer patients (800 patients as in the Supraflex arm of the TALENT trial) and demonstrate that the Supraflex Cruz stent is not inferior to the BioFreedom stent in High Bleeding Risk (HBR) patients (400 patients) with respect to device oriented composite endpoint (DOCE) at 12 months. All patients will be followed up to 12 months after the index procedure.
BIOFLOW-DAPT is a prospective, multi-center, international, two-arm randomized controlled clinical study. A total of 1'948 subjects will be randomized 1:1 to receive either Orsiro Mission or Resolute Onyx. After index procedure, all patients will receive DAPT (ASA + P2Y12 inhibitor) for 30 days, followed by monotherapy with either P2Y12 inhibitor or ASA only until the end of the study. Clinical follow-up visits will be scheduled at 1, 6 and 12 months post-procedure.
Phase Ia - Explore safety and establish the maximum tolerated dose (MTD)/recommended dose levels for phase Ib expansion phase of BI 905711 based on the frequency of patients experiencing dose limiting toxicities (DLTs) during the MTD evaluation period. The MTD evaluation period is defined as the first two treatment cycles (from first dose administration until the day preceding the third dose administration or end of REP in case of discontinuation before start of Cycle 3). Phase Ia - Explore pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, and efficacy to guide the determination of a potentially effective dose range for phase Ib in the absence of MTD. Phase Ib - Evaluate efficacy and safety of BI 905711 at a potentially effective dose range and determine the Recommended Phase 2 Dose (RP2D)
This is a prospective, multicenter, randomized, open-label, crossover study to investigate the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of IgPro20 in participants with diffuse cutaneous systemic sclerosis (dcSSc). The pharmacokinetic study aims to evaluate the relative bioavailability of IgPro20, and characterize pharmacokinetics of IgPro20 and IgPro10, respectively, in participants with dcSSc. Safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of IgPro10 will also be evaluated.
To evaluate the efficacy and safety of eplontersen after administration for 65 weeks to patients with hereditary transthyretin-mediated amyloid polyneuropathy (hATTR-PN), as compared to the NEURO-TTR trial (NCT01737398). For more information, please visit http://www.neuro-ttransform.com/.
This study looks at the safety and tolerability of the new medicine NNC0268-0965 (referred to as insulin 965), its concentration in the blood and its effect on the blood sugar for the treatment of diabetes. The study will test how insulin 965 is tolerated by the body, how it is taken up in the blood, how long it stays there and how the blood sugar is lowered. Participants will either get the new insulin 965 or the already marketed insulin glargine U100 (Lantus®) - which treatment is decided by chance. Participants will get six injections (one per day) of either insulin 965 or insulin glargine U100 under the skin of the left thigh. The study will last for about 5 weeks. Participants will have 6 clinic visits with the study doctor. Participants can only be in the study if the study doctor thinks that there are no risks for their health. Women can only take part in the study if they can't have children.
This is an open-label, randomized, multicentre study to evaluate safety and preliminary efficacy of the human anti-CD19 antibody Tafasitamab in addition to R-CHOP (Rituximab, Cyclophosphamide, Doxorubicin, Vincristin, Prednison) or Tafasitamab and Lenalidomide in addition to R-CHOP in adult patients with newly diagnosed, previously untreated Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma (DLBCL).
This study (contRAst 3 [202018: NCT04134728]) is a Phase 3, randomized, multicenter, double-blind study to assess the safety and efficacy of GSK3196165 in combination with conventional (cs) DMARD[s]) or the treatment of adult participants with moderate to severe active rheumatoid arthritis (RA) who have had an inadequate response to biologic (b) DMARD[s]) and/or JAK inhibitors. The study will consist of a screening phase of up to 6 weeks followed by 24 week treatment phase in which participants will be randomized in ratio of 6:6:6:1:1:1 to GSK3196165 150 milligrams (mg) subcutaneously (SC) weekly,GSK3196165 90 mg SC weekly, sarilumab 200 mg SC every other week or placebo (three arms) respectively, all in combination with background csDMARD(s). At Week 12, participants in the three placebo arms will switch from placebo to active intervention (either GSK3196165 150 mg SC weekly, GSK3196165 90 mg SC weekly, or sarilumab 200 mg SC every other week). Participants who, in investigator's judgement will benefit from extended treatment with GSK3196165, may be included in the long-term extension study (contRAst X [209564: NCT04333147]). Any participant who does not transition into study 209564 will undergo a safety follow-up visit at Week 34 (corresponding to 12 weeks after the last potential dose of sarilumab, at Week 22).
