NCT ID: NCT02283398 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Effectivity of RIPC in Outcomes of TAVI Procedure

Cardioprotective Effect of RIPC in Patients Undergoing TAVI

CARE-TAVI
Start date: November 2014
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

We aim to investigate whether RIPC (remote ischemic preconditioning) is effective in the TAVI setting to reduce post-procedural myocardial damage and improve patient outcome. Accordingly, we aim to investigate whether RIPC can be introduced as an integral part of the TAVI procedure, in order to reduce post-procedural myocardial damage and potentially improve patient outcome.

NCT ID: NCT02282176 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia

TINN2: Treat Infection in NeoNates 2

TINN2
Start date: January 2015
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The aim of the TINN2 study is to evaluate the efficacy of azithromycin in prevention of bronchopulmonary dysplasia in preterm neonates.

NCT ID: NCT02281695 Withdrawn - Respiratory Failure Clinical Trials

PEEP Influence on Gas Exchange During Early Weaning

MHOPEEP
Start date: October 2014
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine the differences in oxygenation and decarboxylation between two weaning processes.

NCT ID: NCT02273349 Withdrawn - Emphysema Clinical Trials

Lung Volume Reduction Coils for Emphysema in Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency

LuReCAA
Start date: October 2014
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The objective of this study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the RePneu Lung Volume Reduction Coil (LVRC) in patients with Alpha-1-Antitrypsin deficiency (AATD) caused emphysema. The hypothesis is that emphysema in AATD patients shows similar tissue destruction profile was well as symptoms and thus will respond favorably to LVRC treatment, demonstrating improvement in lung function, exercise capacity, and quality of life relative to their baseline status.

NCT ID: NCT02269683 Withdrawn - Pancreatic Tumor Clinical Trials

Robotic vs. Laparoscopic Distal Pancreatectomy for Pancreatic Cancer

DAVID
Start date: n/a
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The present randomized controlled trial evaluates the incidence of R1 resections in patients undergoing robotic distal pancreatectomy compared to the laparoscopic technique.

NCT ID: NCT02261909 Withdrawn - Acute Kidney Injury Clinical Trials

New Prognostic Kidney Function Markers in Emergency Patients New Markers of Kidney Function in ED Patients

Start date: May 2015
Phase:
Study type: Observational

NephroCheck is measuring the concentration of a certain protein combination in the urine of patients. In elevated values there is a probability of renal failure (already proven in intensive care patients). The investigators would like to investigate whether the investigators can predict renal failure in patients receiving contrast enhanced CT's in the emergency department. That would lead to an earlier nephrologist consult in those patients.

NCT ID: NCT02258009 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Visual Impairment Due to Diabetic Macular Edema

Systemic VEGF Protein Dynamics Following Intravitreal Injections of Ranibizumab Versus Aflibercept in Patients With Visual Impairment Due to Diabetic Macular Edema

TIDE DME
Start date: October 2015
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of the study is to compare the effect of intravitreal injections of ranibizumab and aflibercept on systemic VEGF protein levels in DME patients in a detailed time course.

NCT ID: NCT02242721 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Need for Renal Replacement Therapy and Anti-infective Therapy Due to Severe Infection

Drugmonitoring of Antiinfective Drugs in Patients Receiving Continous Veno-venous Hemodiafiltration (ABx-CVVHDF)

Start date: October 2014
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

Approximately 300 patients have to be enrolled in the study. They are followed up until the end of ICU stay. Usually in clinical routine, patients suspected to have infection and simultaneously renal dysfunction making CVVHDF necessary. After enrolment blood and dialysate specimens are drawn and sent for analysis on specific time points. The analysis results are sent back to the study team at the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and enable them to optimize antiinfectiva treatment of the study patients. Data are used to test calculation tools and modify them if necessary.

NCT ID: NCT02231463 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Insufficiency; Cardiac, Complicating Surgery

Influence of Two Different PEEP Niveaus and a Trendelenburg Positioning Manoeuvre on Subclavian Vein Diameter

Start date: June 2014
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

In 50 Patients who are undergoing a planned surgical procedure which require a central venous catheter the diameter of the subclavian vein is measured by ultrasound under 6 different conditions.

NCT ID: NCT02206568 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus

Pharmacokinetics of Ultra-Rapid-Acting Insulin Lispro (URAL) in Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus

Start date: June 2014
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

To compare the early pharmacokinetic exposure of URAL and insulin lispro (ILisp).
