NCT ID: NCT05253651 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Colorectal Neoplasms

A Study of Tucatinib With Trastuzumab and mFOLFOX6 Versus Standard of Care Treatment in First-line HER2+ Metastatic Colorectal Cancer

MOUNTAINEER-03
Start date: October 24, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study is being done to find out if tucatinib with other cancer drugs works better than standard of care to treat participants with HER2 positive colorectal cancer. This study will also test what side effects happen when participants take this combination of drugs. A side effect is anything a drug does to the body besides treating your disease. Participants in this study have colorectal cancer that has spread through the body (metastatic) and/or cannot be removed with surgery (unresectable). Participants will be assigned randomly to the tucatinib group or standard of care group. The tucatinib group will get tucatinib, trastuzumab, and mFOLFOX6. The standard of care group will get either: - mFOLFOX6 alone, - mFOLFOX6 with bevacizumab, or - mFOLFOX6 with cetuximab mFOLFOX6 is a combination of multiple drugs. All of the drugs given in this study are used to treat this type of cancer.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of JNJ-78934804 as compared to guselkumab and golimumab in participants with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis who have had an inadequate initial response, loss of response, or intolerance to one or more approved advanced therapy.

NCT ID: NCT05239728 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Carcinoma, Renal Cell

A Study of Belzutifan (MK-6482) Plus Pembrolizumab (MK-3475) Versus Placebo Plus Pembrolizumab in Participants With Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma Post Nephrectomy (MK-6482-022)

Start date: March 15, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of oral belzutifan (MK-6482) plus intravenous (IV) pembrolizumab (MK-3475) compared to placebo plus pembrolizumab, in the adjuvant treatment of Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma (ccRCC) post nephrectomy. The primary study hypothesis is that belzutifan plus pembrolizumab is superior to placebo plus pembrolizumab with respect to disease-free survival (DFS).

NCT ID: NCT05238974 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Respiratory Syncytial Virus Infections

A Study to Evaluate the Safety and Efficacy of MEDI8897 for the Prevention of Medically Attended RSV LRTI in Healthy Late Preterm and Term Infants

MELODY
Start date: July 23, 2019
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety, pharmacokinetics (PK), and antidrug antibody (ADA) response for MEDI8897 in healthy late preterm and term infants who are 35 weeks or greater gestational age and entering their first RSV season.

Start date: June 14, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

To assess the safety and efficacy of nebulized PC945 in combination with systemic antifungal therapy for the treatment of refractory IPA

NCT ID: NCT05234086 Recruiting - Wound Heal Clinical Trials

Cell Therapy for Diabetic Foot Ulcer

Start date: January 2, 2020
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Diabetes is a highly prevalent chronic disease that affects a large part of the world's population. Among the most costly complications is the diabetic foot ulcer, where its decompensation can result in limb amputation, a risk 10 to 20 times more frequent for diabetic population. Two underlying pathophysiological mechanisms are mainly identified: neuropathy and problems associated with vasculature and blood supply, in addition to the incidence of infections, which further impairs prognosis. Skin regeneration involves several overlapping and consecutive stages, which in the case of a diabetic patient are altered. Although healing protocols have been significantly improved at the country level, and there is also a large amount of medical supplies for treatment of these wounds, there are still patients with ulcers refractory to this care that end in amputation. In response to this, new treatments have emerged that use biomaterials and cells of the patient himself, which attempt to emulate the architecture and functionality of normal tissue. Cell therapy has gained strength in recent years, with more and more studies indicating the positive effect of cell application on healing of chronic wounds with underlying pathologies, such as diabetes. The product to be evaluated corresponds to a combined medical device, which conveys a cellular therapy, known as InbioDerm+C. The purpose of this Phase II clinical study is to determine whether InbioDerm+C treatment plus advanced healing is equal to or superior to advanced healing in a diabetic population with Wagner II grade foot ulcer treated in Villa Alemana primary care family centers, Las Américas, Juan Bautista Bravo Vega and Eduardo Frei.

NCT ID: NCT05229302 Completed - Suicidal Ideation Clinical Trials

Effectiveness of a CBT Online-based Program to Reduce Suicide Ideation Among School Adolescents

Start date: April 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This is a single-blind two armed cluster randomized controlled trial (cRCT) aimed to determine the effectiveness of an integrated blended intervention (online a face-to face sessions) to reduce suicidal ideation (primary outcome). Additionally, the effect of the program on the following secondary outcomes will be assessed: suicidal attempts, depressive symptoms, hopelessness and problem-solving skills. On the other side, given its probable role as underlying mechanism in SI reduction, the effect of the intervention on emotional regulation will be assessed. Moreover, the study will evaluate whether the effects of the cRCT on primary and secondary outcomes remain at post-intervention and at 3-month, 6-month and 12-month follow-up.

NCT ID: NCT05226598 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Metastatic Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Study of Pembrolizumab/Vibostolimab Coformulation (MK-7684A) in Combination With Chemotherapy Versus Pembrolizumab Plus Chemotherapy in Participants With Metastatic Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (MK-7684A-007/KEYVIBE-007)

Start date: March 24, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The primary hypothesis is that pembrolizumab/vibostolimab (MK-7684A) in combination with chemotherapy is superior to pembrolizumab in combination with chemotherapy with respect to overall survival (OS) in treatment-naïve metastatic participants with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

NCT ID: NCT05221242 Enrolling by invitation - Healthy Clinical Trials

Clinical Trial on Ceramic Partial Laminate Veneers With Different Luting Agents

Start date: January 4, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Partial laminate veneers is a type of dental restoration made of a glass-matrix ceramic used to restore small teeth fractures, or to correct morphology defects of teeth (i.e.: diastema, conoid teeth or small misalignment). As tooth surface reduction, or tooth preparation is not needed for this type of restoration, it can be considered as a non-tooth preparation minimally invasive procedure. As non-preparation is required for the restoration with ceramic partial laminate veneers, bonding relies on adhesion between the intaglio surface of the ceramic restoration and the tooth surface, which in most of the cases is enamel. For this purpose, many light-curing resin cement materials are available for bonding procedures. Nowadays, pre-heated resin composites are available as a resin luting material which has been indicated for laminate veneers and partial indirect posterior restorations. As pre-heated resin composite has not been yet studied for partial laminate veneers, the objective of this randomized split mouth clinical trial, is to evaluate the survival of ceramic partial laminate veneers when bonded with two different resin composite luting agents.
