There are about 6915 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Austria. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This study will evaluate the safety and tolerability of iscalimab at two dose levels in patients with Sjögren's Syndrome, who participated in the TWINSS core study, CCFZ533B2201(NCT03905525). Additionally, this Extension study will further explore the pharmacokinetics (PK) and efficacy of iscalimab at two dose level.
The study will be performed 120 patients at about 6 to 8 study centers. Only patients with clinical conditions requiring assessment of patency of the treated BTK lesions at 6 months post procedure by MRA as part of standard care to prevent amputations as consequence of non-detected re-stenosis/occlusions will be included in the study. The sequence in which the individual patients will be treated will be randomized with the Chocolate PTA balloon and the uncoated conventional PTA balloon at each center. 60 patients will be randomized to uncoated conventional PTA balloon treatment and 60 patients to treatment with the Chocolate PTA balloon. All lesions in each patient (lesions that fulfill the inclusion/exclusion criteria) should be treated as the patient is randomized. In patients with long lesions more than one balloon may be used. Overlapping of balloons (at least 10mm) is mandatory to avoid untreated gaps between sequential treatments. Follow up will be performed at 1 and 6 months.
Phase 3 randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, study assessing the efficacy and safety of acalabrutinib plus rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisone (R-CHOP) vs placebo plus R-CHOP in subjects ≤75 years of age with previously untreated non-germinal center diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
The primary objective of this study is to assess overall survival (OS) with sacituzumab govitecan-hziy in comparison with treatment of physician's choice (TPC) in participants with metastatic or locally advanced unresectable urothelial cancer (UC).
Crohn's disease (CD) is a long-lasting condition causing inflammation that can affect any part of the gut. This study will evaluate how well risankizumab works compared to ustekinumab. This study will assess change in Crohn's Disease Activity Index (CDAI). Risankizumab is an investigational drug being developed for the treatment of Crohn's Disease (CD). Ustekinumab is an approved drug for the treatment of moderate and severe CD. Participants are randomly assigned to one of the three treatment groups. Each group receives a different treatment. There is a 1 in 2 chance that participants will be assigned to ustekinumab. Around 508 adult participants with moderate to severe CD will be enrolled in approximately 307 sites worldwide. In Part 1, participants assigned to risankizumab will receive intravenous (IV) doses of risankizumab at Week 0, 4,8 and subcutaneous (SC) doses every 8 weeks thereafter through Week 48. Participants assigned to ustekinumab will receive intravenous (IV) dose of ustekinumab at Week 0 and subcutaneous (SC) doses every 8 weeks thereafter through Week 48. In Part 2, participants who received risankizumab in Part 1 and completed the Week 48 visit will continue to receive SC risankizumab for up to an additional 220 weeks. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic. The effect of the treatment will be checked by medical assessments, blood tests, checking for side effects and completing questionnaires.
In this study researcher want to gain more information on how the study drug (radium-223) is distributed in the bone, particularly in the tumor free bone in participants with prostate cancer. The study plans to enroll 60 patients with the age of at least 18 years and suffering from prostate cancer which has spread to the bones. Researcher will divide the study participants into 2 groups. Patients in Group 1 should have up to 6 bone metastases and patients for group 2 should have more than 6 bone metastases. The study medication will be given as injection into a vein every 4 weeks up to a maximum of 6 times. To study how radium distributes in the body and particularly in the bones, participants will undergo after study medication intake MRI or CT Scans (imaging techniques).
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of atezolizumab in combination with tiragolumab compared with durvalumab in participants with locally advanced, unresectable Stage III non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who have received at least two cycles of concurrent platinum-based chemoradiotherapy (CRT) and have not had radiographic disease progression.
AL (or light chain) amyloidosis begins in the bone marrow where abnormal proteins misfold and create free light chains that cannot be broken down. These free light chains bind together to form amyloid fibrils that build up in the extracellular space of organs, affecting the kidneys, heart, liver, spleen, nervous system and digestive tract. The primary purpose of this study is to determine whether CAEL-101, a monoclonal antibody that removes AL amyloid deposits from tissues and organs, improves overall survival and it is safe and well tolerated in patients with stage IIIa AL amyloidosis.
This study has been set up within the framework of the INNODIA network. INNODIA is a global partnership between 31 academic institutions, 6 industrial partners, a small sized enterprise and 2 patient organizations, bringing their knowledge and experience together with one common goal: "To fight type 1 diabetes". (www.innodia.eu) The overall aim of INNODIA is to advance in a decisive way how to predict, stage, evaluate and prevent the onset and progression of type 1 diabetes (T1D). For this, INNODIA has established a comprehensive and interdisciplinary network of clinical and basic scientists, who are leading experts in the field of T1D research in Europe and UK (United Kingdom), with complementary expertise from the areas of immunology, Beta-cell biology, biomarker research and T1D therapy, joining forces in a coordinated fashion with industry partners and two foundations, as well as with all major stakeholders in the process, including regulatory bodies and patients with T1D and their families. The MELD-ATG trial is a phase II, Multi-centre, randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled, Multi-arm parallel cohort trial. - to investigate the effect of 2.5 mg/kg og ATG on the preservation of stimulated C-peptide at 12 months compared to placebo - to identify the minimally effective dose of ATG that shows an effect on C-peptide when compared to placebo at 12 months
