Filter by:All women in one Swedish county who had not participated in the organized screening program for at least 10 years were sent an HPV self-sampling kit. Women who were positive for HPV were referred to a gynecological examination including colposcopy and further testing according to national guidelines.
This study is a randomized, open-label, controlled, multi-center Phase III clinical study, aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of camrelizumab combined with famitinib malate versus platinum-based chemotherapy in the treatment of recurrent/metastatic cervical cancer. All enrolled patients will be randomly divided into 2 groups and continuously treated until any event that meets the criteria for end of the clinical trial.
The proposed project will examine the effects of a healing touch intervention in women receiving chemotherapy and radiation for advanced cervical cancer.
Counteracting misinformation on childhood vaccines remains a priority for public health in industrialized countries. Previous research showed that misinformation-induced vaccine hesitancy particularly concerns very highly or very lowly educated parents, and, especially in Europe, specific groups of immigrants. Misinformation framing directly targets specific sub-population of parents by exploiting different cognitive biases, and specific concerns based on cultural norms: this project aims at testing the effectiveness of similar framing techniques applied to positive information on the HPV vaccine by conducting a Randomized Controlled Trial in Stockholm, Sweden. It randomizes emotionally and scientifically/statistically framed information addressing the specific concerns reported by previous literature.
Small scale data indicate that cervical cancer screening participation may increase when self-sampling (SS) devices are offered directly by health care workers to non-screened woman, when those woman contact health services for whatever reason. The purpose of the current research is to reproduce the early findings of a MSc project conducted in a general practitioners (GP) group practice in Brussels, where women not screened since >3 years randomized to direct reception of a SS kit yielded a response of 78% vs 51% in the control arm. BELGSSAR will also investigate whether GP's have the information on the most important risk factors for cervical cancer available in their patient files.

This is a phase II trial of combination therapy of pembrolizumab and lenvatinib in patients with locally advanced or metastatic cervical cancer that had failed first line of therapy. The hypothesis is the combination of lenvatinib and pembrolizumab will overcome vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)-mediated immunosuppression to enhance the response of patients with locally advanced or metastatic cervical cancer.
