Filter by:Currently in France, hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) represents over 30% of indications of liver transplantation (LT) (# 500 cases/year). Chemoembolization (TACE) is the most commonly used bridge treatment in those patients (estimate 60%). These patients will present with a complete response in only 60 % of the cases (# 180 patients per year in France) and failure in 40 % of the cases (# 120 patients per year in France). A systemic treatment using lenvatinib might provide a benefit in patients presenting with a non-resectable HCC in waiting list for LT and with a TACE failure (i.e. those with an active disease and a partial response or a stable disease or a progressive disease on imaging data, in particular when AFP remains significantly increased after 2 TACE) by decreasing dropout rate before LT and decreasing recurrence rate post-LT without new safety signal.
This project is focusing on who have locally advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and have undergone neoadjuvant and adjuvant therapy, followed by surgical resection. The exclusive MRD (Minimal residual disease) probe consists of an exclusive "molecular label" formulated according to the individual genome mutation profile and 21 critical tumor driver genes. By continuously monitoring each patient's ctDNA dynamics, changes in ctDNA concentration or ctDNA-MRD negative/positive results will serve as the primary indicators to assess the efficacy and prognosis of patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
This study is a single-arm, multicenter clinical study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Cadonilimab in combination with gemcitabine/cisplatin as a first-line treatment for recurrent or metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the efficacy and safety of Lenvatinib Plus Tislelizumab for Locally Advanced Unresectable or Metastatic Hepatocellular Carcinoma With Hepatitis B Virus Infection and Biomarker Analyses.
This is a prospective, single-arm, open-label,multi-center, phase II study, aiming to evaluate the efficacy and safety of AK104 combined with preoperative chemotherapy in patients with locally advanced ESCC.
At present, endometrial carcinoma is one of the three most common malignant tumors in gynecology, and the incidence has been increasing year by year, causing a large health and economic burden to the society. Therefore, researchers regard the hierarchical management and precise diagnosis and treatment of endometrial carcinoma as an important direction for future research. In 2013, the American Cancer Genome Atlas Research Network proposed a molecular typing of endometrial carcinoma. In recent years, international scholars have conducted relevant research on the molecular characteristics of a large number of endometrial carcinomas and immunity, targeted therapy and postoperative adjuvant chemoradiotherapy. However, the molecular characteristics of endometrial carcinoma and the choice of surgical route are still in a relatively lacking state. The previous research of the investigators' group was the first to propose the concept of selecting surgical routes for endometrial carcinoma based on molecular characteristics. Then, on this basis, the investigators' research group plans to carry out a prospective randomized controlled study to further analyze the impact of surgical routes on the short-term safety and long-term prognosis of endometrial carcinoma patients with different molecular characteristics, and transform it into a clinical decision-making technical index system for endometrial carcinoma surgical selection based on molecular characteristics and further promote and apply. The results of this study will make up for the shortcomings in the relevant fields of endometrial carcinoma research in the world to some extent, and become an important aspect of the decision-making system of clinical comprehensive precision diagnosis and treatment of endometrial carcinoma patients.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of immunonutrion compared with standard nutrition in reducing oral mucositis in patients with locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
High concentrations of parathyroid hormone (PTH) are common in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). This study is aimed to investigate effects of vitamin D status and its multiple mega-dosage supplementation on PTH and clinical outcomes in HCC patients before and after hepatectomy. It's a single-center, prospective, parallel, double-blind, placebo-controlled study for 120 eligible subjects. The subjects will receive consecutively 3-day intervention treatments from 7th day before surgery. 30-day postoperative mortality, postoperative complications, and laboratory data will be evaluated.
Researchers collect specimens from advanced or recurrent colorectal cancer (CRC) patients to conduct molecular profiling and establish tumor organoids (PDOs)/ patient-derived xenografts (PDXs). The aim of this study is to identify clinical actionable targets and predict in vivo response of the tumor to targeted drugs by using PDOs/ PDXs. And the above-mentioned studies will provide the patients with potential personalized cancer treatment options.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) combined with anti-VEGF (Bevacizumab Biosimilar) in patients with BCLC-B stage hepatocellular carcinoma beyond up-to-seven criteria.
