Start date: May 2004
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

RATIONALE: Chemoprevention is the use of certain drugs to keep cancer from forming, growing, or coming back. The use of calcitriol may prevent prostate cancer. NCT ID: NCT00082667 Terminated - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Gefitinib Followed By Surgery in Treating Women With Ductal Carcinoma In Situ of the Breast

Start date: October 2002
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

RATIONALE: Gefitinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking the enzymes necessary for their growth. It is not yet known whether surgery is more effective with or without gefitinib in treating ductal carcinoma in situ. NCT ID: NCT00005808 Terminated - Cervical Cancer Clinical Trials

Photodynamic Therapy Using Lutetium Texaphyrin in Treating Patients With Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia

Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

Phase I trial to study the effectiveness of photodynamic therapy with lutetium texaphyrin in treating patients who have cervical intraepithelial neoplasia.
