NCT ID: NCT05401162 Recruiting - Ovarian Cancer Clinical Trials

Chemotherapy Supported by Autologous Hematopoietic Stem Cells

Start date: April 15, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this project is to use autologous haematopoietic stem cell transfusion support to promote the reconstruction of haematopoietic function after chemotherapy for ovarian cancer. To explore the impact of stored haematopoietic stem cell support therapy on bone marrow protection after conventional chemotherapy for ovarian cancer in order to facilitate its clinical application.

NCT ID: NCT05406882 Recruiting - Gut Microbiota Clinical Trials

The Effects of Probiotics Combined With Glutamine in the Prevention and Treatment of Radiation Proctitis

Start date: April 15, 2022
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Radiation proctitis is a common complication after radiation therapy for pelvic tumors. The investigators found that live bifidobacterium and lactobacillus tablets combined with compound glutamine enteric-coated capsules can significantly relieve the symptoms of radiation proctitis through preliminary clinical practice, but the mechanism is unknown. Through a prospective randomized controlled study, this study intends to investigate the incidence of grade 2 or higher acute radiation proctitis in patients of locally advanced rectal cancer after radiotherapy with the combined therapy. And through various scales, next-generation sequencing methods and other methods to evaluate the clinical symptoms, colonoscopy, imaging, and changes in the species and abundance of intestinal flora before and after treatment. To further explore the related pathways and mechanisms affecting radiation proctitis.

NCT ID: NCT05409846 Recruiting - Fabry Disease Clinical Trials

Screening of Fabry Disease in Portuguese Patients With Idiopathic Cardiomyopathies

F-CHECK
Start date: April 15, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

In Portugal, the prevalence of Fabry disease is largely unknown as recently has been stressed by the Portuguese hypertrophic cardiomyopathy registry investigators. On the other hand, few data on Fabry screening protocols in patients with compromised ejection fraction including burned-out hypertrophic cardiomyopathy series have been published. This project intends to perform screening of Fabry disease in patients with distinct cardiomyopathy phenotypes of unknown or dubious etiology and explore the less knew impact of the disease in other cardiac phenotypes.

NCT ID: NCT05426694 Recruiting - Scapular Dyskinesis Clinical Trials

Effectiveness of Scapular Clock Exercises in Scapular Dyskinesia in Post-Operative Open Heart Surgery Patients

Start date: April 15, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

In patients after open-heart surgery, the complaint of scapular dyskinesia is very common. It occurs due to the weakness of the muscles surrounding the scapula. In this research, investigators checked the effectiveness of scapular clock exercises in scapular dyskinesia, in post-op open heart surgery patients. There were two groups, an intervention "Active group" and a 'control group'. The patients will be randomly assigned to each group equally. The treatment session was given for a period of 4 weeks, with 3 sessions each week. They were assessed before treatment, after 2 weeks and post-intervention.

NCT ID: NCT05459545 Recruiting - Atrial Fibrillation Clinical Trials

Real-World Evaluation of Eko Algorithms in a Point of Care Setting

Start date: April 15, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this research is to prospectively test and validate the utility of Eko artificial intelligence (AI) plus Eko Murmur Analysis Software (EMAS) murmur characterization in algorithm in a real world, point-of-care setting.

NCT ID: NCT05463185 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Axillary Web Syndrome

Effects Of Lymphatic Drainage on Axillary Web Syndrome

Start date: April 15, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Axillary web syndrome (AWS) is a common condition related to cording in axilla as a result of axillary lymph nodes dissection surgery in breast cancer patients. This condition comprises of 86% population who underwent breast cancer surgery, but this condition is usually under diagnosed. Usually characterized by pain full cording of soft tissue and contractures at axillary region. This study aims to see the effects of manual lymphatic drainage with or without soft tissue mobilization on patients with axillary web syndrome. It will be a randomized control trial which will be conducted in cancer centers in government sector hospitals. 30 participants will be enrolled by non probability sampling technique through lottery method into two groups, 15 participants in each group. One group will receive manual lymphatic drainage, while other group will receive manual lymphatic drainage in addition to soft tissue mobilization (3-5 treatment sessions per week for 4 weeks). Base line treatment regimen include stretching, range of motion and strengthening exercises. For outcome measures treatment will be assessed on questionnaires including Disabilities of Arm Shoulder and Hand questionnaire (DASH), Numeric Pain Rating scale (NRS), Breast cancer specific QOL questionnaires (EORTC QLQ-C30, EORTC QLQ BR-23), Patient specific Functional Scale (PSFS), Goniometer and Dynamometer.

NCT ID: NCT05463523 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Artificial Intelligence

A Multi-centric Clinical Trial in China for Skin Diseases Intelligent Diagnosis and Treatment System

Start date: April 15, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

In response to clinical needs, infrared multi-spectral images are combined with traditional clinical images and other multi-modal data to build a more efficient intelligent auxiliary diagnosis system and intelligent equipment for skin health and diseases, including skin lesions automatically segmentation on skin diseases images, automatically design surgical margin and planning for skin tumor surgery.
