NCT ID: NCT05294367 Recruiting - Lymphoma Clinical Trials

Dietary and Topical Magnesium Replacement or Supplementation in Patients With Lymphoma

Start date: April 15, 2022
Phase: Early Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This early phase I trial investigates the effect of dietary and topical magnesium replacement on magnesium blood levels in patients with lymphoma. Magnesium is an element in the body that is important to cell health. The body cannot make magnesium and it typically comes from the food we eat. In patients who are ill, magnesium is often replaced intravenously (IV) through a vein or by mouth. This study may help researchers find out if being on a magnesium rich diet and using a magnesium lotion on the skin helps to keep magnesium blood levels in an ideal range. This study also investigates side effects and quality of life when receiving different forms of magnesium.

NCT ID: NCT05314127 Recruiting - Warts Flat Clinical Trials

Efficacy of Tazarotene in Treatment of Verruca Plana

Start date: April 15, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Verruca plana is a common skin infection with worldwide distribution. Approximately 10% of general population is infected with flat warts and it represents up to 18 % of the patients seeking treatment for warts. Verruca plana is not merely an infectious disease but also affects the quality of patients' life. Verruca plana causes major cosmetic and social concerns. Lesions' persistence and recurrence cause frustrations and psychological distress which motivate patients to seek different treatment strategies. Verruca plana commonly affects the school aged children which augments its effect on the psychological and social development of children with stigmatization and bullying are great risks. The available treatment strategies neither ensured complete clearance of the disease nor were free of side effects. Frequently used physical removal methods are operator dependent and commonly lead to irritation, local inflammation, scars, dyspigmentation, and disfigurement. In this study we evaluate the efficacy and the safety of tazarotene gel 0.1% in the treatment of verruca plana compared to imiquimod or 5-fluorouracil

NCT ID: NCT05320705 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Postoperative Atrial Fibrillation

The Effect of Intra Operative Dexmedetomidine in Prevention of Early Postoperative Atrial Fibrillation

Start date: April 15, 2022
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The incidence of atrial fibrillation (AF) after lung resection varies between 12% and 30% after lobectomy and 23%-67% after pneumonectomy. The average time of onset of AF after lung resection is 2-3 days. AF after pulmonary resection can cause symptoms, hemodynamic instability, and stroke.Furthermore, AF following pulmonary resection may triple the mean duration stay in the intensive care unit and increase the total length of hospital stay by 2-9 days, with an increased in associated hospitalization costs.lastly, AF after lung resection has been associated with an increased risk of mortality , although the arrhythmia is more likely to be a consequence of other associated cardiopulmonary complications, rather than the main cause of death. our study aim to assess the role of intra operative dexmedetomidine in reduction of early postoperative atrial fibrillation in patients undergoing thoracic non cardiac surgeries. Objectives: 1. To evaluate possible efficacy of intraoperative dexmedetomidine in reduction of postoperative atrial fibrillation in patients undergoing thoracic non cardiac surgeries 2. To determine the incidence of new-onset atrial fibrillation after thoracic non cardiac surgeries in patients given intra operative dexmedetomidine

NCT ID: NCT05320718 Recruiting - Surgery Clinical Trials

Analgesia in Minimally Invasive Direct Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting: Programmed Intermittent Bolus Infusions of Erector Spinae Plane Block Versus Paravertebral Block

Start date: April 15, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Paravertebral block (PVB) has been regarded as effective regimen for pain control after cardiac surgery. As a novel analgesia technique, erector spinae plane block (ESPB) has been reported to provide effective analgesia after thoracic and cardiac surgery. We hypothesized that the ESPB is non-inferior to PVB in treating pain in minimally invasive direct coronary artery bypass surgery.

NCT ID: NCT05322733 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia/Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma

Orelabrutinib and Obinutuzumab Plus FC Regimen in Treating Newly Diagnosed CLL/SLL

Start date: April 15, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study is a multi-center, open-label, single-arm, non-randomized phase II clinical study in order to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Orelabrutinib, Fludarabine, Cyclophosphamide, and Obinutuzumab (GA-101) (oFCG) in the Treatment of Newly Diagnosed Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) / Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma (SLL)

NCT ID: NCT05324241 Recruiting - Constipation Clinical Trials

Laxative Properties of Microencapsulated Lipid (Constipation Study)

Start date: April 15, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The present study seeks to build on these observations to assess whether in principle, fat containing microcapsules might help patients experiencing constipation in association with weight loss interventions (including GLP-1 analogues or bariatric surgery) to both avoid/treat constipation and simultaneously optimise their ability to feel full during eating. This potential dual action may provide added benefit versus the use of traditional approaches to constipation prophylaxis e.g., lactulose.

NCT ID: NCT05324332 Recruiting - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials
