Elderly humans have an increased risk of dementia which begins as mild defects in memory called mild cognitive impairment. Glutathione (GSH), a key endogenous antioxidant has been linked to cognition. This exploratory study will investigate mechanisms linked to GSH for cognitive impairment (and improvement) by studying humans with mild cognitive impairment who will be evaluated 12-weeks after receiving either N-acetylcysteine and glycine (GSH precursors), or receiving alanine, and a further 12-weeks after stopping these supplements.
To evaluate the effectiveness of rhGH (Recombinant human growth hormone) injection for improving motor development in patients with PWS.
Carfilzomib is approved in Turkey for the treatment of adult relapsed multiple myeloma patients who have received at least one prior treatment. It is approved for use in combination with lenalidomide and dexamethasone (KRd) in and with dexamethasone alone (Kd). The purpose of this study is to describe contemporary, real-world patterns of patient characteristics, clinical disease presentation, prior therapeutic regimen chosen, and clinical outcomes in participants with relapsed/refractory (R/R) multiple myeloma (MM) who receive Carfilzomib combination treatment. Real-world evidence is crucial to understand how carfilzomib-based regimens are used in practice and in relation to local prescribing information. This is a prospective, non-interventional, observational study. The study population will include patients with relapsed/refractory MM who have received 1 to 3 prior lines of therapy with documented data in the medical record regarding diagnosis (month and year), the regimens used in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line as applicable, whether stem cell transplant was part of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line of therapy at participating clinical sites in Turkey.
The therapeutic advantage of the association of ATRA + Arsenic Trioxide is more favorable and manageable as compared to ATRA + chemotherapy. Nevertheless, at present, there is not enough information on the incidence of long-term side effects. This study, as well as other similar studies conducted around Europe, will focus on following patients treated with this therapy on a long-term basis. Once all studies in Europe will be concluded, all data will be analyzed together.
The present trial will be conducted to verify if early supplemental parenteral nutrition in combination with nutritional counseling improves survival and the feasibility of chemotherapy, in addition to nutritional status, body composition, functional status and quality of life in treatment-naïve patients with metastatic gastric cancer at nutritional risk undergoing first-line chemotherapy.
To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Camrelizumab in Combination With Docetaxel +S-1 Sequenced by Camrelizumab+S-1 as Adjuvant Treatment Therapy in Stage III Gastric Cancer (PD-L1 + / MSI-H / EBV +/dMMR) . Secondary study objective: To observe and evaluate the overall survival and adverse events of Camrelizumab in Combination With Docetaxel +S-1 Sequenced by Camrelizumab+S-1 as Adjuvant Treatment Therapy in Stage III Gastric Cancer (PD-L1 + / MSI-H / EBV +/dMMR). To evaluate the safety ofCamrelizumab in Combination With Docetaxel +S-1 Sequenced by Camrelizumab+S-1 as Adjuvant Treatment Therapy in Stage III Gastric Cancer (PD-L1 + / MSI-H / EBV +/dMMR). Objective: To explore the incidence of PD-L1 + / MSI-H / EBV + /dMMR in stage III gastric cancer. To explore the correlation of PD-L1 + / MSI-H / EBV + /dMMR in stage III gastric cancer.
This was a multicenter, open, multi-cohort extended PHASE I/IIa study, consisting of 2 phases:Phase I (Phase I dose escalation) and Phase II (Phase IIa multi-cohort extension). The objective of this study was to evaluate safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetic characteristics, and initial efficacy in malignant pleural mesothelioma and MSLN in advanced malignant solid tumors.
The study is to evaluate the effect of optimized 12-month step-down antiplatelet therapy (APT) compared with standard 12-month dual antiplatelet therapy in clinical net adverse events, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular adverse events and reducing clinical related bleeding events in the patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) who are not the predominant coronary artery disease after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
This is a follow-up study to investigate the long-term safety and explore efficacy of SMUP-IA-01, for the treatment of Knee Osteoarthritis. Subjects who participated in and completed the initial stage of the Phase I trial (NCT04037345 ) will be followed-up until 60 months.
Erectile dysfunction (ED) is among the most common sexual dysfunctions experienced by men, affecting at least one third of men across the lifespan. Although pharmacological treatments are available, adherence to these treatments is poor, suggesting the need for integration of psychological interventions. This study will determine if a 6-session mindfulness-based psychosexual therapy (MBPST) group will be effective and feasible for men with situational ED. This study is adapted from a previously published 4-session MBPST protocol which was found to be beneficial for men with situational ED. Outcomes are measured using self-report questionnaires on sexual functioning/enjoyment, relationship satisfaction, and treatment acceptability.
