The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of Plasmodium immunotherapy in the treatment of advanced ovarian cancer. This study plans to enroll 30 patients with advanced ovarian cancer. Each patient is inoculated with Plasmodium vivax 1-5 × 10^6, observe the time when the parasite is detected in the peripheral blood of the subjects after the inoculation of Plasmodium, the change of the parasite density in the peripheral blood of the whole treatment cycle and the control effect of the drug on the parasite density, the main clinical symptoms and signs, laboratory test indicators, immunological test indicators and changes in the quality of life. To evaluate the safety and tolerance of the subjects to Plasmodium immunotherapy, as well as the changes of tumor related indicators and immunological indicators.
The study is prospective randomized clinical trial that aims to evaluate the adjunctive use of L-PRF in promoting the desired vascularization and bone fill in small and large defects following tooth extraction and report on the long-term implant and patient outcomes
The goal of this clinical trial is to understand the effects of the probiotic Bifidobacterium breve BBr60 on the gut health of people who drink alcohol regularly. We want to find out if this probiotic can help improve the health of the digestive system in those who consume alcohol. The main questions we aim to answer are: Does Bifidobacterium breve BBr60 positively change the composition of gut bacteria in alcohol consumers? Participants in this study will: Be randomly assigned to one of two groups. One group will receive the probiotic Bifidobacterium breve BBr60, and the other group will receive a placebo (a substance with no active therapeutic effect). Take their assigned treatment for a specified period, as directed by the study protocol. Undergo regular health checks and provide feceal samples for analysis to see how their gut bacteria might have changed during the study. This study is important because it explores whether a specific type of probiotic can help protect or improve gut health in people who drink alcohol, potentially offering a new way to support digestive health.
Stroke, which can occur due to many different reasons and is one of the most common neurological conditions, is one of the leading causes of disability worldwide. The most common disorders that occur after stroke are motor disorders. In addition, these patients may be accompanied by respiratory problems such as changes in breathing patterns and decreased ventilation function. Respiratory problems are an important risk factor for the development of long-term mortality for both cardiovascular diseases and stroke. With all these changes, there is a serious decrease in the activity performance of the patients. While stroke rehabilitation focuses on motor function losses, problems in pulmonary functions do not receive the necessary attention. Evaluating and treating patients from every aspect in stroke rehabilitation will further increase the effectiveness of the treatments applied. Ultrasonography (USG), which has been used in the field of healthcare for more than 40 years, works with a mechanism based on the principle of sound waves traveling and reflecting at different speeds in tissues of different densities. USG is a very useful and effective imaging method used by modern medicine as a part of examination and patient care, based on its advantages such as sound waves being harmless to living beings because they are non-ionizing, the image being real-time and being viewable at the time of the procedure, being a non-invasive method, and being inexpensive. This study will be included in the literature as an original study in terms of examining both the development of the patients and the effectiveness of the treatment in many aspects, with many parameters obtained by ultrasonography in subacute stroke patients who will receive respiratory muscle training.
The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of phase I and early phase II rehabilitation with telerehabilitation method and sleep hygiene training on physical capacity, cardiac functions, anxiety level, quality of life and sleep quality in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass graft surgery.
To study the optimal therapeutic strategies for salvage treatment of refractory/relapsed AML, and to clarify the effectiveness and safety of various salvage treatment options. A prospective, multicenter, platform-type study was conducted to explore the overall response rate, tolerability, and survival of patients with R/R AML with different treatment regimens.
Studies support the idea that people diagnosed with social anxiety disorder score significantly lower on self-acceptance than healthy controls, and that self-compassion is inversely related to anxiety. Motivational interviewing has been shown to improve treatment outcomes as well as predict higher self-compassion and reduced resistance among participants. It also has the ability to increase the effectiveness of motivational interviewing as an intervention with perpetrators of intimate partner violence, promoting readiness for change and progression through stages of change. In this context, this study aims to examine the effect of motivational interviewing on social anxiety level, dating violence and self-compassion in nursing students with social anxiety.
Purpose of the Study This study aims to determine the effect of mindfulness-based stress reduction program given to infertile women on perceived stress, anxiety, depression and salivary cortisol. Materials and Method It will be conducted in a randomized controlled experimental design. This randomized controlled trial will follow the Consolidated Standards of Reporting Trials (CONSORT) 2010 guidelines.
This is a single center, non-randomized, open label, single-dose study in subjects with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD). The study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of autologous CRISPR-Cas9 modified CD34+ human hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (hHSPCs) (BRL-101).
The goal of this cluster randomized trial is to evaluate the effectiveness of the RISIMA model based on an integrated county healthcare consortium implemented by multi-level family health teams (FHTs)on patients with diabetes and/or hypertension, including CVD risk assessment, treatment, and management.
