Vulvo-Vaginal Atrophy (VVA) or Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause (GSM) is a common and under-reported condition associated with decreased estrogenization of the vaginal tissue The aim of this study is to evaluate safety and efficacy of " Dynamic Quadripolar Radio-frequency" thermal treatment with Vaginal Dynamic Radio-frequency (VDR™) and Radio-frequency Safety System (RSS™) for the treatment of VVA and GSM in postmenopausal women who either present contra-indication for menopause hormone therapy, or are not willing to use Menopause Hormone Therapy (MHT) or have failed to be helped using MHT.
This is an open label first in human Phase I/II multicentre study of GT005 in subjects with Macular Atrophy due to AMD
This is a double-masked, multicenter, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial, evaluating the efficacy and safety of ALK-001 in participants with Geographic Atrophy (GA) secondary to age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Up to 200 participants will receive ALK-001 while up to 100 participants will receive a placebo.
This is a Phase 3, open-label, single-arm, single-dose, trial of onasemnogene abeparvovec-xioi (gene replacement therapy) in participants with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) Type 1 and who are genetically defined by a biallelic pathogenic mutation of the survival motor neuron 1 gene (SMN1) with one or two copies of survival motor neuron 2 gene (SMN2). The primary objective of the study is to evaluate the efficacy of onasemnogene abeparvovec-xioi by assessing the proportion of symptomatic SMA Type 1 participants who achieve the ability to sit unaided for at least 10 seconds up to and including the 18 months of age trial visit. At least 6 participants aged < 6 months (< 180 days) at the time of gene replacement therapy (Day 1) will be enrolled.
Breast Cancer treatment may cause several side effects, some long lasting. Adjuvant hormone therapy helps avoiding recurrence triggers vulvovaginal atrophy syndrome. This study evaluate a photodynamic treatment with light emitting diode to improve vaginal dryness and irritation, pruritus, pain or discomfort in intercourse.
The aim of this study is primarily to investigate the performance of Celegyn®, a hyaluronic acid-based vaginal cream (CE marked 0546 medical device), enriched with plant-based ingredients, in comparison with placebo, in promoting vaginal health in adult woman reporting symptoms of vulvovaginal atrophy - VVA (or atrophic vulvovaginitis)
A long term safety study of amifampridine phosphate in patients with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) Type 3.
Evaluate the effect of IONIS-FB-LRx on the rate of change of the area of geographic atrophy (GA) secondary to age-related macular degeneration (AMD) measured by fundus autofluorescence (FAF).
