The purpose of this study is to develop a registry with safety and efficacy data on the use of etanercept in clinical practice in Taiwan.
This 2 arm study will compare the incidence of tocilizumab-related infusion reactions, using 2 different infusion times, in patients with moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis who have shown an inadequate response to DMARDs (Disease Modifying Anti Rheumatic Drugs) or anti-TNFs.Patients will be randomized to one of 2 groups, to receive tocilizumab 8mg/kg iv every 4 weeks either a)over a 1h infusion time for all administrations or b) a 1h infusion time for the first administration, followed by a 31 minute infusion time for subsequent administrations (unless drug-related infusion reactions occur). The anticipated time on study treatment is 3-12 months, and the target sample size is <100 individuals.
This is an epidemiological non-interventional study assessing the prevalence of anxiety and/or depression disorders in patients suffering from Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA) in Spain.
The primary objective of this study is to assess the safety and efficacy of different dose regimens of ILV-094 compared with placebo, administered subcutaneously to subjects with active rheumatoid arthritis who are taking methotrexate.
This study was an extension to study MA21573 [NCT00750880], which was an open label single arm study to investigate the safety, tolerability and efficacy of tocilizumab monotherapy, or combination therapy with non-biological disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDS), in patients with moderate to severe active rheumatoid arthritis. Patients who completed the 24 week core study, and had at least a moderate European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) response, were eligible to enter this long-term extension study, and received tocilizumab 8 mg/kg intravenous (iv) every 4 weeks. The anticipated time on study treatment was 1-2 years, and the target sample size was > 500 individuals.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether tranilast at two different dosages compared to placebo is effective in patients with active RA when added to continuing methotrexate (MTX) therapy.
This is an epidemiological, multicenter, retrospective study to analyze the management of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in usual clinical practice in Spain. Two groups of patients will be analyzed: individuals who have had RA for two years or less (the "early RA" group) and individuals who have had RA for more than 2 years and who currently meet the ACR criteria for RA (the "established RA" group).
The purpose of this study is to monitor the performance of artificial hip joints implanted with two different bone cements, SmartSet® HV and SmartSet® GHV, in the treatment of patients with hip joint disease requiring a total hip replacement. Patients who enter the study will be randomly allocated to SmartSet® HV or SmartSet® GHV and will be evaluated at regular intervals following hip surgery using patient, clinical and x-ray assessments
To evaluate the potential of adalimumab to inhibit radiographic progression in joint destruction compared with placebo in adult Japanese subjects with recent onset of rheumatoid arthritis.
