NCT ID: NCT03414866 Active, not recruiting - Aortic Dissection Clinical Trials

Thoraflex Hybrid Post-Market Study

THOR
Start date: May 25, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This is a global, prospective non-interventional, multi-centre, post-market study of the Vascutek Thoraflex™ Hybrid system in patients with acute thoracic aortic syndrome, subacute/chronic dissection of the aorta and aortic aneurysm.

NCT ID: NCT03408379 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Intracranial Aneurysms

Impact of Platelet Activation in Intracranial Aneurysm Rupture Risk - PLAQRAN

PLAQRAN
Start date: December 20, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Sub arachnoid hemorrhage consecutive to intracranial aneurysm rupture is a devastating disease. Predictors of intracranial aneurysm rupture are limited and focus mainly on size and location. Platelet activation may have a deleterious role on aneurysm rupture. The assumption is that patients with ruptured intracranial aneurysm will present a higher rate of platelet activation compared to patients with non ruptured aneurysms.

NCT ID: NCT03298477 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Without Rupture

EVAS2 IDE Prospective, Multicenter, Single Arm Safety and Effectiveness Confirmatory Study

EVAS2
Start date: December 1, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Prospective, multicenter, single arm study with consecutive, eligible subject enrollment at each site. All subjects will undergo the Endovascular Aneurysm repair procedure with the Nellix System.

NCT ID: NCT03295682 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Thoracoabdominal Aneurysm

Registry in Patients With Thoracoabdominal Aneurysms

CONNECT
Start date: September 11, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

In this study patients will be observed, who receive a multi-branch stent graft tailored to the patients anatomy for the endovascular treatment of a thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysm Crawford type I, II, III, IV or V. The objective of this study is to evaluate clinical and technical success as well as safety and feasibility of the multi-branch stent graft Systems used in endovascular treatment of thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms that cannot be treated with commercially available devices. Primary endpoint of this study is the rate of patients with stable or decreasing aneurysm size at 12 months follow-up.

NCT ID: NCT03269942 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Intracranial Aneurysm

Study of Complex Intracranial Aneurysm Treatment

SCAT
Start date: March 14, 2015
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The investigator expects that endovascular flow-diversion is superior over revascularization by postoperative modified Rankin scale (mRS) in patients with complex intracranial aneurysms.

NCT ID: NCT03214601 Active, not recruiting - Aortic Aneurysm Clinical Trials

Early Feasibility Study of the RelayBranch Thoracic Stent-Graft System

RelayBranch
Start date: December 4, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to conduct an early clinical evaluation of the Relay Branch System, which will provide initial insight into the clinical safety and function of the device. This Early Feasibility Study (EFS) will assess the safety and effectiveness of the device at the index procedure and at 30-day follow-up. The study will evaluate the delivery and deployment of the device, patency of branches and branch vessels, and exclusion of the aortic pathology. The data will help determine if modifications need to be made to the device, the procedural steps, operator technique, or the indications for use.

NCT ID: NCT03207087 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Wide Neck Bifurcation Intracranial Aneurysms

The WEB®-IT China Clinical Study

WEB-IT China
Start date: June 21, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This trial is a prospective, multicenter, single-arm confirmatory clinical trial. The study is to confirm the safety and effectiveness of the WEB Aneurysm Embolization System demonstrated in the US WEB-IT Study for the treatment of intracranial wide-neck bifurcation aneurysms. The study's primary endpoints include a primary effectiveness endpoint and a primary safety endpoint. The study device must meet both endpoints. The primary effectiveness endpoint is adjudicated by an independent third party core lab.

NCT ID: NCT03180996 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm

Global Fenestrated Anaconda Clinical sTudy

Global FACT
Start date: September 11, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study is a prospective non-interventional, multi-centre study of the Vascutek Fenestrated Anaconda™ system, and is essentially a post-market study. The Vascutek Fenestrated Anaconda™ system is a custom made device used for the treatment of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm.

NCT ID: NCT03115346 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm

Preferences for Open Vs. Endovascular Repair for Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm

PROVE-AAA
Start date: April 15, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study tests the use of a decision aid for Veterans who are facing a decision about surgery for their Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA). The local site investigators (LSI) will enroll Veterans with AAA who are candidates for endovascular or open surgical repair. There are 22-24 VA Medical Centers participating in the trial. 12 sites will be randomly assigned to the intervention group, and 12 sites will be randomly assigned to the control group. Twelve Veterans will be enrolled at each site. At sites assigned to the intervention arm, Veterans will receive a decision aid with information about the two types of surgery for AAA repair, open and endovascular, and complete a survey about their preferences. Veterans at control sites will complete the same survey, but will not receive the decision aid. After their surgery, Veterans will take another survey asking about their satisfaction. The LSI will compare the results of the survey between Veterans' in the intervention and control groups to determine the effect of the decision aid on agreement between preference and repair type.

NCT ID: NCT03075748 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Thoracoabdominal Aortic Aneurysms

Visceral Manifold Study for the Repair of TAAA

Start date: December 19, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The outcomes from prior clinical evaluation of the study device, including successfully treating 99% (84/85) of the intended target vessels and 96% (27/28) limb patency observed at one year, demonstrate the potential benefits of the device. When contrasted with open repair's significant complication rates and branch fenestrated device's significant anatomic and logistic limitations, the potential risk of the proposed novel graft does not outweigh the potential benefit of widened anatomic availability and improved patency rates. Given the potential benefits, the investigators feel that it is justified to expose the target patient population to the potential risk. The non-clinical testing performed by Medtronic and the clinical results reported by Sanford Health show adequate safety of the device to support an early feasibility study. The investigators would like to perform an early feasibility study under a defined and controlled protocol to collect prospective preliminary safety and device functionality data. The investigators believe an early feasibility study is most appropriate for this novel approach. The limited sample size allows adequate patient data to be collected under a controlled protocol without exposing a large patient population to the risk associated with a novel device design.
