Filter by:Phase II, multicenter, open-label, multi-cohort proof-of-concept study designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Ezabenlimab combined with BI 907828 in patients with unresectable, locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors.
This trial is a prospective, monocentric, with minimal risks and constraints study, conducted in patients with Soft Tissue Sarcoma (STS) of the limbs and trunk with indication for neoadjuvant radiotherapy (RT). Patients will be treated by neoadjuvant RT and will have a pre-RT and a post-RT multiparametric quantitative Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). A tumor resection will be performed 6 to 8 weeks post-RT and an anatomopathological observation of the surgical specimen will be performed. This study will allow to describe the initial remnographic characteristics and their evolution after neoadjuvant RT using quantitative multiparametric MRI (mpMRI).
This study is designed to determine if preoperative image guided radiation therapy (IGRT) delivered using intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) followed by surgery results in similar short-term wound healing complications as surgery followed by postoperative IGRT in patients with extremity or truncal soft tissue sarcoma. Half of the patients will receive preoperative radiotherapy, half will receive postoperative radiotherapy.
This pilot clinical trial studies real-time contrast-enhanced ultrasonography and shear wave elastography in predicting treatment response in patients with soft tissue sarcomas. Ultrasonography and elastography are diagnostic imaging tests that use sound waves to make pictures of the body without using radiation (x-rays). Real-time contrast-enhanced ultrasonography and shear wave elastography may help measure a patient's response to treatment given before surgery in patients with soft tissue sarcoma.
RATIONALE: Radiation therapy given before surgery of soft tissue sarcoma decreases the size of the tumor mass and the presence of malignant cells in its peripheral region. NBTXR3 and radiation therapy may kill more cancer cells and increase the tumor shrinkage rendering surgery more feasible or easier and achieve better local control of the tumor. PURPOSE: This phase II/III is a prospective randomized, multi-center, open-label and active controlled two arms study in patients with locally advanced soft tissue sarcoma (STS) of the extremity and trunk wall. Patients will be randomized to receive either NBTXR3 as intratumor injection, activated by external beam radiation therapy or external beam radiation therapy alone, as preoperative treatment. Once the radiotherapy treatment is completed, tumor surgery will be performed in all patients.

PURPOSE: This Phase I trial aims at evaluating the feasibility of the NBTXR3 injection in the tumor, safety and the adequate dose of NBTXR3 when given with radiation therapy.
RATIONALE: Specialized radiation therapy, such as proton beam radiation therapy, that delivers a high dose of radiation directly to the tumor may kill more tumor cells and cause less damage to normal tissue in patients with retroperitoneal sarcoma. PURPOSE: This phase I trial is studying the side effects and and best dose of proton beam radiation therapy in treating patients with retroperitoneal sarcoma.
RATIONALE: Vaccines made from a peptide may make the body build an immune response and kill tumor cells. PURPOSE: Randomized phase I trial to study the effectiveness of vaccine therapy in treating patients who have metastatic cancer that has not responded to previous therapy.
